by BlackMettaler on 10/26/09Trocadero - Philadelphia

Satyricon was awesome. Good thing there weren't a lot of people there. Only true elite kult black metallers showed up.

    ROSENGUARD!!!

by BLCK on 10/20/09Double Door - Chicago

Band called Rosenguard opened up the night and shut the street DoWn. After their set, there was a power outage on the whole block. I guess that's what happens when METAL is played RIGHT!!!!!! Satyricon's set was delayed because of the power outage and it took a while for the crowd to get into Satyricon's set, but it was a night of METAL!!!!!!

Satyricon is the best black metal band in concert!

by CatBinLady on 10/15/09Key Club - Los Angeles

I saw Satyricon at the Key Club in Los Angeles. The opening acts were really good, the venue was nice (though the bathrooms were 90% broken), and the bar was good. The 2-drink minimum was confusing though, apperently that's just for minors?... Satyricon was amazing, it was the second time I saw them and I'd see them again. Satyr and the rest of the band got more enthusiastic as the show went on. They played 2 encores, ending with "Mother North", which the crowd sang along to. The crowd was awesome too. The pit was rough but fun, and not too many drunk annoying people.

    Unforgettable

by Blastdrummer on 10/4/09Club Firestone - Orlando

Satyricon was amazing. I heard Frost wasn't going to be on this tour. I'm so glad he was. Spoke with Frost for about black metal and his other band 1349. Can't wait to see them again. The other band touring wIth them were good as well.

    Satyricon - Menacing and Magical

by Delirious on 10/2/09The Norva - Norfolk

The show immediately came out pounding! The band opened with Repined Bastard Nation and the fans heads started to thrash back and forth. That action repeated through 12 additional songs! Satyr has such a menacing presence, that compels your inner demon to come forth to the light and get out some aggression! As usual, they did not play any songs from Dark Medieval Times. There was Forhekset from Nemisis Devina and of course, Mother North in the encore, from the same album. All of the other songs were from Volcano, Now Diabolical and The Age of Nero. Nocturno Culto and Gildas were on guitar. I am trying to figure out who the touring bass player is this round, since Victor Brandt elected not to tour this year. Very good performance, my neck is still sore!!
