ZZ WARD IN CONCERT:

Blues-rock queen ZZ Ward is a soulful and sassy newcomer who's quickly making herself known with her robust vocals, intricate guitar playing, and signature fedora. Whether she's nailing a harmonica solo on "Grinnin' In Your Face" or serenading fans on the tear-jerking love ballad "Last Love Song", ZZ Ward puts on a thrilling live performance every time. Hot off the heels of a packed 2014 Coachella set, ZZ Ward will have fans dancing all night long on her thrilling, high-energy tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born Zsuzsanna Eva Ward, ZZ Ward got her start performing alongside her musician father at the age of 12. Several years later, she decided to pursue a full-time music career and moved to Los Angeles to begin work on her debut album. After collaborating with Ryan Tedder and Fitz from Fitz and the Tantrums, Ward broke out with her EP Criminal in 2012 and generated major buzz with her infectious, bluesy style. The demo attracted attention from big names like Kendrick Lamar and Freddie Gibbs, who were so enamored by her songs that they joined forces with the new singer and were featured on tracks from her full-length LP Til the Casket Drops.  Since then, the budding songstress has toured with guitar legend Eric Clapton, made appearances on a number of popular talk shows, and had her music featured in major films and television series -- all in a few short years. Back on the road, Ward will bring the house down as she treats audiences to a string of fan-favorites on her highly anticipated shows.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"ZZ is an amazing artist. She plays with a ton of energy. We have seen her in Vegas and this time she was even better. Can't wait to see her again."

"ZZ was wonderful and so was her band. I was surprised to see her play guitar, piano and rock out on the harp! The musicianship was top notch and she was really personal with the audience and often had us singing along. Did a really cool cover of Drake's 'Hold On, We’re Going Home' that was really creative. Awesome show!"

"She was really good and her band was really tight. I would recommend seeing her to anyone with ears who likes great music."

  • Fantastic Show!

by Peaches on 11/13/23Knitting Factory - Boise - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Rocked the Knitting Factory in Boise. Lanie Gardner opened and did a great job warming up the place before ZZ came out. Looking forward to picking up a Lanie Gardner CD. In the meantime, ZZ has a new album coming out next year. It will be on the top of my list! We will try to see her again in Portland Oregon.

  • Great artist

by RR on 11/13/23Knitting Factory - Spokane - SpokaneRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the artist and all her songs. Did not love the venue. Very few seats and the people that were at the tables complained meanly to those who were standing. In the end everyone was standing but I think tables need to be upstairs or something. Extremely rude crowd.

  • Love her voice!

So glad I got to see ZZ Ward in person! Been following her for awhile and kept up-to-date where she was touring so I could grab some tickets if she ever came to Spokane. I really enjoyed her so much. It was awesome!

  • Amazing Night

    by Hannah D on 11/11/23Knitting Factory - Boise - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I was so thrilled to see ZZ Ward for the first time and she did NOT disappoint. Great set, amazing musicians backing her, and the small venue made it even better. They chose a great opener who set a great tone, and I loved all the throwbacks to Til the Casket Drops as well as songs from the new album. I knew it would be great, but it was even better than I'd hoped. Love you ZZ!

  • Evening with ZZ

by Bogo on 11/11/23Knitting Factory - Boise - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

From the first time I saw ZZ it has been delightful. The Nerolux bar in Boise to the one a few night ago. I’ve seen her in 5 states now Colorado Wyoming, California Utah and Idaho and with so talented support. A young girl to almost mother of two I’ve enjoyed the growth. It’s difficult to not hear her music in movie, meet the millers to Cars 3 to tv shows Shameless and awkward and several others. Looking forward to her future releases.

  • disappointed :/

by kriv on 10/16/23Rating: 3 out of 5

I was disappointed in the first tier VIP experience. I have done numerous VIP experiences at the same price point and ZZ didn't even sing or answer questions to our small group. We stood in a single file line said hi, took a picture, got a poster/pins and that was it. :( As far as the actual concert, she did a great job. The crowd was not great because it was a Monday night.

  • Been anxiously waiting to see ZZ Ward

    by Mike S on 9/26/23XL Live - HarrisburgRating: 5 out of 5

We wanted so much to see her, and she came to our back yard at our favorite venue, XL Live Harrisburg. The show was fantastic. We had four generations at the show, with ages 75, 47, 28 and 8. We parked our 8yo, Danika on the railing right in front of ZZ and watched her sing along with almost every one of ZZ's songs. The memories made at that show will be priceless for years to come. This was Danika's first live show. She picked a good one. And to top it off, she was handed ZZ's pick at the end of the show. Thank you, ZZ Ward, and XL Live.

  • Entertainment was Fabulous

  • ZZ Ward - MUST SEE

by Dennis on 9/25/23Majestic Theatre - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

The shiw was FABULOUS! Great music that sounded like someone put a lot of care into delivering a great performance. We really thought ZZ's stage presence with the crowd was excellent! We purchased VIP tickets with a meet and greet with ZZ. She was very nice, warm and friendly. She chatted with us a bit, took pictures and autographed our swag. We watched her as she talked to others. She really likes her fans. My wife and I are looking forward to the next tome she's I'm the area. The Majestic is a nice, older movie or music venue. It's a very intimate setting and was a great experience!
