ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

by Nette on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Always great music. Not a bad seat in the house. Zzs we’re having as much fun as the crowd. Fun night.

  • INCREDIBLE!

by Erport on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top was a bucket list for me and didn't disappoint in any way. The artistry, humor, flair -- it was all there and made me feel lucky to be able to experience it. LOVED seeing BILLY and ELWOOD in action! And also the drummer did an excellent job filling in for Señor Beard.

  • Not impressed

by PJ on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 2 out of 5

Didn’t play long & paying to get in & parking etc then to have people standing up in front of rows of people cutting out other people’s views to stage was very rude!! Lots of people complained about same thing throughout the night.

  • Great Venue I'll be going back there

by Earl on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Great Venue I'll be going back there. ZZ TOP what can you say, class, smooth, awesome!

The show was great. It took a bit to get through the line, but the show was great.

  • Shorter than last 3 I went to

by Igor on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 3 out of 5

Noticeably shorter than my previous experience, lots of fans were apparently taken aback by that. Good audio and excellent guitar

  • Fabulous

by CinJoe on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

The guy's did great. This is about the 8th time (or more) that I have seen them in concert. I didn't expect a stage setting similar to the Recycler or Eliminator tours, but this plain and simple worked well. My only complaint was the show only lasted about 1 and a quarter hours. Not sure if the venue (St. Augustine) has a noise ordinance that ends at 10 or if this is just the length of their show now days.

  • Fun Concert

by Amy on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top was a fun concert and they sounded great. We had an awesome time, and the St. Augustine Amphitheater is an easy going venue.

  • ZZ Top is still Amazing

by Marty H on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

The Li’l Ol Band from Texas still rocks after 5 Decades! The Saint Augustine Amp is my favorite place to watch a concert. Great set up and staff. Food is really good and fair priced.

  • ZZ Top at the Amp!!

by JoJo on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 4 out of 5

I have to give 4 stars due to Billy Gibbons being the only original member of the band playing this show due to Frank Beard being sick. The opener McKinely James was enjoyable. It was still excellent and the Amp is THE best venue to see a show.

  • Still Have It

by Jack on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Great show even after all these years they still sound great and put in a great show

  • Excellent, as always

by WRM on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Superb performance, as always. Elwood Francis is doing a great job as Dusty's replacement. And The Reverend Billy G, what can you say to describe him; no words; and no one compares.

  • The Billy Gibbons' Band

by Joe King on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 3 out of 5

The band played well, it was unfortunate that Frank Beard was not playing so Billy Gibbons was the only original member playing.

  • Disappointed

by DabKen on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 2 out of 5

They played for only an hour & 15 minutes. Extremely disappointing to pay $127.50 for each ticket and then they play only that long. Concert started at 7:30 as scheduled with a warm up band. ZZ Top came on at 8:30, played for little over an hour and came back for an encore for a total playing time of 75 minutes. Frank Beard wasn’t even there. Everything they played was good, but you have got to be kidding me!

  • Great

by James on 3/17/25The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St AugustineRating: 5 out of 5

Great Concert had a blast. Amphitheater was outstanding venue!

  • Blast from the past

by 80schick on 3/16/25Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

We really enjoyed the show, the band sounded great and put on a great show despite their ages. We saw them on their Eliminator tour at a huge stadium in the 80s , so this was really special to see them at such a small venue.

  • Music was good but vocals were muffled

by Gravey on 3/15/25Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Event Center - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

Only played for an hour and 10 minutes should've played at least 2 hours or more

  • Super concert

ZZ Top! What more needs to be said about this fantastic group! Just 3 men = terrific music. Love them’
