ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

Third time attending a ZZ Top Concert. 1982, Hara Arena, 1986 Rapid City, SD and now the Brady Center. Thier style is unique and unmatched! Love thier energy!

  • Unenthusiastic

Highly disappointed in the lack of passion on stage. No attempt to draw in the audience. Not much of a show; just two on guitar and one in the dark going through the motions.

  • Amazing

by Colton K on 4/11/25The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Bought these tickets back in November for my father as a christmas present. He had never seen them live, so I wanted to make sure he was able to. The drummer was out for medical reasons, but the backup drummer was absolutely killing it. Amazing performance, great energy on stage and from the crowd.

  • Great performance and venue

by Tom on 4/11/25The Andrew J Brady Music Center - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

This was our first trip to Andrew Brady Music Center and it was a great experience. The seating is set up steeply enough that the row in front doesn't block any views. Intimate venue with a great vibe. ZZ Top performance was excellent! They never disappoint.

  • Show Lacking

by Phil on 4/10/25Rating: 2 out of 5

The sound quality, especially the vocals were awful until say song 9, and not great after that. The biggest disappointment was the lack of recognition that Frank Beard wasn't playing drums. For that matter, the drummer was cast in a heavy shadow all evening. Never was there a spotlight on the gentleman playing drums. No lights overheard of the drummer. Billy made a deal about Elwood but never mentioned who was on the drum kit?? And the darkness surrounding the drum kit. Very weird. Apparently I could have read that Frank has medical issues and took the rest of the tour off -- but why not acknowledge that? I've seen ZZ half dozen times and this was the worst by far.

  • No full bar available at this show in Caesars

by dj on 4/5/25Rating: 3 out of 5

No full bar available. No softdrinks available, just water. Some bottled mixer alcohol drinks all that was offered. You could bring in a drink from the casino bar if you knew to do it ahead of time.

  • Not their best performance

by dj on 4/5/25Rating: 3 out of 5

Sound was not the best in this Caesars venue and the worst was the vocals were weak. Had an out of tune string on third song but replacing the guitar fixed that issue. Just an ok show.

  • A legendary night with a legendary band

by Doug on 4/4/25Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing concert! Reliving my childhood. Grew up listening to ZZ Top in the 80's and now got to experience their incredible musical talents with my wife. Many great memories made at the concert. And the Brown County Music Center was a fantastic venue to enjoy a concert. Great sound and one amazingly friendly staff!! A+

  • ZZ Top

by Tony on 4/4/25Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was my Son’s first concert. My third time seeing ZZ Top. This one ranks up there with the performance in 1983- Derby Eve Jam. Brown County is a beautiful venue. We will return. Would go see them again…

  • Great but awful venue

by Jmcneely on 4/4/25Brown County Music Center - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

ZZ Top was great. Venue leaves a lot to be desired. Seats could have been more thought out. More like a movie theater than a venue. Seats needed to be more inclined for easier viewing of the stage.

  • Not worth the money

by Mediocre on 4/2/25Caesars Event Center at Caesars Southern Indiana - ElizabethRating: 3 out of 5

They did not play for that long a time and did not play enough of their older music. The seats on the floor were way too close together which made it uncomfortable. Just not worth the money.

  • quick, fun,

by 1 hour concert on 4/2/25Caesars Event Center at Caesars Southern Indiana - ElizabethRating: 3 out of 5

This was a wonderful venue. Not a bad seat in the house. Now, I know we are all getting older, and concerts are expensive. However, I paid $150 a ticket and they played for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Had I known they were only doing one set I may have reconsidered the purchase. I will say for that hour and 10 minutes I was having a blast! Consider yourself informed about what you are getting for your money
