ZZ Top Concert Schedule
ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.
ZZ Top Background
ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

Brought me back to my high school rocker days, sans mullet! Great concert. Beer prices were stupid.
The band was perfect as always. The venue in Pickering Casino is the worst. No screens and the acoustics are the worst I’ve experienced in my 50 years
Had a blast watching some legends play and our first time at the Pickering Casino. Great seating to see any of your best acts play
This is the second show that we have attended at the Pickering Casino arena and although the musicians were great, the music was way too loud and the mix was distorted, to the point that the musicians' voices were inaudible. We enjoy loud music but when you can feel your heart pounding in your chest and your ears start ringing, you know the music is way too loud, especially when you're sitting at the back of the arena. Your audio mixer needs to make some adjustments and tone it down, otherwise, we won't be back for anymore concerts at the Pickering Casino arena. Also, we weren't the only ones complaining about the music volume and distortion. We mingled outside during the break with other concert goers and they voiced the same concerns. Some even said that they wouldn't be back for any more concerts. Too bad since it's a really nice venue, parking is free and we live only about 10 minutes away.
ZZ Top played a very short set. Just over an hour and 10 minutes. They left out a few of their top hits (including Tush). Sound wasn't great either. Billy's voice was not up to par. On the plus side...The Wallflowers were very good.
ZZTOP fantastic as always As our first time at Windsor Casino it was a little confusing re parking and entering for merch and show, However the staff was most helpful and considerate
Zztop can still bring it. Absolutely amazing ! Even at their ages, they still rocked. Love to see them again.
The Wallflowers and ZZ Top were awesome to see. Both bands were entertaining but I couldn’t get over how bad the sound was. During The Wallflowers, microphone feedback and the bass over powered a lot of the time. ZZ Top’s set you could hardly hear Mr. Gibbons and there was a point where there was supposed to be a small drum solo and it’s like the mic’s were turned off just as the rest of the band stopped to play. The Casino usually has great sound so this was a bit disappointing.
Like these guys OK for many years. Saw them for the first time and they were fabulous live so much more heart and blues and rhythm.. They look like they were having fun and interactive with the audience. I will be seeing them when they come back again!
Zztop was excellent, right on their game! So relaxed and at ease. Played all my faves except Tush and only one song was not familiar! They did their moves, even had their fur guitars out for"Legs"! No politics, just an awesome night of old bluesy rocknroll 🤘 the only complaint I have was with ticketmaster not having an option for paper tickets. Not everyone has a cell phone and tablets are not allowed in the venue. This caused alot of stress. There should be an option, I have paid extra to have them mailed in the past.
ZZ TOP put on a fantastic show! Always a great venue to see bands, sound was great, crowd was great, had an amazing time!!
Both bands performances we great. But would of been much more enjoyable if the soundman new what he was doing. Wallflowers definitely didn't have a sound check, and he couldn't right by the end of the set. ZZ Top mix took 4 songs too get vocals out front
Well, despite the cold rainy weather that day, it was alright. We were very impressed with the helpers or staff that were working...they were all very helpful with finding my tickets on my cell phone & helping with finding our seats. Very organized & clean venue. I just wish it would have been nicer...I would have had more beer. LOL. The prices were a little high...
Great concert if weather had been a bit better. Still-had a good time!
The seats and show were great. The ticket prices are a little outrageous as it's a rip off from Ticketmaster but great show
ZZ Top and the Wallflowers put on a great show, they sounded great and played some of their best songs! The rain was a bummer, and I think it shortened the show, but it didn't affect the music. Nobody left the show early. I would grade the experience as an "A"except the rain put a damper on it. I give it a B+ but it is not a reflection on the music, just the rainy experience.
First time seeing ZZ Top, they came out jamming & last song was amazing, & everything in between! Great venue too.
Great night of music. Got to see one of my most loved bands
We had a great time and the show was awesome even though the weather wasn't the best!!
What can you say about icons of Rock!? Classic, entertaining, rockin', the best! Have seen them many times and they NEVER fail to give an amazing show!
