About
Zac Brown Band is a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning southern rock group fronted by founder and vocalist Zac Brown. After breaking out with their 9-times platinum hit "Chicken Fried” from debut album The Foundation in 2008, Zac Brown Band has released six studio albums, three EPs, and three live albums. The band have secured 17 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 8 of which landed at No. 1. In addition to Brown, the band’s current lineup includes Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook, Matt Mangano, Daniel de los Reyes, and Caroline Jones, many of whom play multiple instruments within the ensemble. The band have cultivated an engaged fanbase and built a reputation for blending beachy country tunes with elements of rock, bluegrass, and folk, and their live shows often feature extended instrumental improvisation. They played a lot of their songs yet to be released on the album coming out soon. This would have been fine for a few but long periods of this combined with extremely long instrumental bits left everyone standing around waiting for the songs they knew! What made it worse was that instead of playing the rest of their hit songs they played some cover songs! I don't know who Zac Brown thinks they are but if I had wanted to hear cover songs I would've went to a FREE Summerfest stage! Even artists who've been around for 30+ years play the hits that people pay a lot of money to go see them for! I think it's extremely rude and disrespectful of them to not give people what they want to hear! If I wanted to hear all of your new album I'd see you next summer after it had been released, but for some people, like myself this was the first (and only) time I will pay to see you and so playing the popular songs is what people expect! I was really hoping for this to be a good show and it should have been if they would've had a set list that didn't bore people and force them to leave early! Summed up by the couple who left next to us- "we'd have better luck on the radio!"

I attend concerts to see great musicians practice their craft, regardless of what they sing. Hearing them cover Aerosmith, Van Morrison and others was incredible. The set list showcased the individual talents of each band member and made for a really fun show. I would see them again tomorrow. Can't wait until they make it back to this part of the country.

And then it took almost 45 min between the 2nd opening act and the main performer to get on stage. We were hoping to hear Zack Brown songs. There were a few in between the cover songs and the WAY too long solos. We left before the concert was even done. Next time I will just stick to buying a CD, I get more music that way.

Too many jam sessions and played at least three new songs the audience never heard off. He didn't play the hits the crowd wanted. The two warm-up bands we not very good either (unlike Lady Antebellum 4 nights earlier).

Two opening acts, Zac did not start until almost 10 with a good hour of nothingness prior. Way too much dead time between acts, even between songs, the band could have had some music playing or conversation while resetting, the musicians themselves were phenomenal. Even the tempo of the concert dragged. They were very good as an opening act, I will look for them to go see again when they learn to entertain the audience. Save your money and buy their CD's... their music is awesome.

Great live improvisation and musical skill. Good song selection. Very enjoyable once it finally got going!

It would have been nice to have the openers indicated on the tickets. The headliner did not start until 2 hours after the time indicated on the tickets. I was impressed that they played for 2 hours. The Marcus Amphitheater is a great venue. I would not recommend parking in the lots closest to the venue, however, because it took FOREVER to get out of there.

ZBB puts on a great show! Was a little warm. Summerfest allowed unopened water bottles..that was good. Lawn seats were great. Hubby has bad ankles & had issue with slope. Huge lines @ restrooms...might have been heat & everyone "hydrating". I'd recommend ZBB TO ANYONE!

While I am a big Zac Brown Band fan, many of the songs were singles from the new album. It was nice to hear new stuff, but it was also hard to stay engaged and excited about the show when I wasn't able to sing along with quite a few songs. Overall, a great show as always, but would have liked to hear more familiar songs.

The only problem was that it was called for 7:30 and he didn't hit the stage until almost 10. Considering that it was 100 degrees and a week night, we would have been happy to pay more if we could have had him come on sooner.

However, we bought the tickets understanding ZAC started at 7:30, there was no opening acts listed. The first of the "opening" acts was fairly short and reasonably good, but the second which played for about 45 minutes "Somethingberry Noise" was VERY BAD. What a waste of time. Would not have been in our seats at 7 o'clock if you had listed opening acts on your website. There was a lot of much better music to listen to on the Fest Grounds Then ZBB finally comes on at 9:25 and played for an amazing 2 hours.
