Zac Brown Band is a multi-platinum, Grammy-winning southern rock group fronted by founder and vocalist Zac Brown. After breaking out with their 9-times platinum hit "Chicken Fried” from debut album The Foundation in 2008, Zac Brown Band has released six studio albums, three EPs, and three live albums. The band have secured 17 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 8 of which landed at No. 1. In addition to Brown, the band’s current lineup includes Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Coy Bowles, Chris Fryar, Clay Cook, Matt Mangano, Daniel de los Reyes, and Caroline Jones, many of whom play multiple instruments within the ensemble. Concert was Awesome! Seating was not so awesome. Support posts were in the way of our view and we were far from the stage. Section - 13 , Row - X, Start Seat 27, End Seat 30 @
The first warmup band, Sophie had good energy and nice voice but distracted by her hair falling infront of her face all the time making her look like a shaggy dog. Not cool. The second band, Black Strawberry, did not have much energy and needed to cleanup the beards. Nothing in there appearence left you with a good impression. You were distracted by there looks which took away from the music. When Zac Brown band finally came on, after way to much time, the opening was good, lots of songs to sign to but then they went instrumental and alot of people just sat down. Many left before the end because of the very long single introduction of each band member which was instrumental.
We saw Zac Brown band at Summerfest. Love love love Zac Brown Band and they sounded great in concert. The Marcus Amphitheater is a nice venue, sound was good. We were in lawn seats and it was very crowded and we could barely see the stage from where we were (just too far away), but still sounded good. Our main complaint was the waiting time. The concert was supposed to be at 7:30. The first opening band came on at 7:30 and played for 30 minutes. Then we waited for take down/set up of next opening band. They played another 30 minutes. Then waited 40 minutes for Zac Brown to set up!! It was 9:30 before Zac Brown took the stage. It was just way too much waiting around. We didn't even stay for the end of the concert - we were so tired and hot by then. We had been at Summerfest all afternoon in 103 degree heat, listening to other bands. We really could have done without any opening band at all. Pretty disappointed in that part of it.
I thought concert was really good, although very warm! I believe Zac Brown honestly trys to give concert goers the best show he can and puts his all into the show. With temperatures around 100 degrees, I can't imagine what it was like being on stage with all of the lights shining on the band. The band played 20+ songs, with many opportunities to show case the talents of his band members with solo performances. I really enjoyed that part as Zac has surrounded himself with some very talented musicians. Definitely worth my money, time, and effort to see.
The bank played in Milwaukee at Summerfest. The must was excellent! A great variety of songs were played. I loved the new songs that will be coming out in their new cd. Everyone had a great time. I would definitely pay to see them perform again. Thank you for a great show!
Too much instramentals. One would be fine...but it was about 1/2 the concert. Play to your crowd! When they played songs everyone knew, the crowd was up & enjoying it. When they kept playing more & more instramentals, everyone sat down. Take the hint!
This was one of the best concerts I have been to. The live performance was simply amazing - they sound better than they do recorded which is not the case with most artists. I will definitely seem them again!
Zac Brown was unbelievable!! They had the crowd on their feet for 2 hours straight and their energy just made the place electric. They only reason they aren't getting 5 stars is because of the time if took for them to get on stage. It was LONG and they played Bob Marley during the break which was just weird. But that being said Zac Brown more than made up for it when they got on stage!
With 100 degree temps. Zac Brown and band knows how to let us leave our worries behind :) Awesome !!!
Zac Brown was even better live than he is on his albums. He had two opening bands and did not go on until around 9:30 but he did not disappoint. The musical skills of the band are second to none although they could tone down the solos a little bit. The new songs that debuted at the show are going to be hits. I wish the set list would have included where the boat leaves from but all in all... Great venue, great show, and respectable opening bands!

Band played instrumentals twice.... I am assuming to take up time. The concert was good, but I feel in a few years it will be great! The band is good, sounds phenomenal, and they have great energy. I think in a few years this band will be awesome to see. They just need to get time behind them and keep getting new albums made. The more hits they come out with, the better their concerts will be.
Bleacher seats horrible. People packed in. Can't see unless you stand for entire concert. Lady passed out and fell was seriously injured. I'm asking for a refund. Main act didn't perform for two hours after listed time on ticket. No where did it mention this on your website
Loved the show once it finally started. It was billed as 7:30 pm the first opening band started at 7:25 and she was great. Then when she was done we expected a break while they set up but then we get another group that isn't even a good bar band. We were about ready to leave at that point long and short , we had to endure another long long break after that until the crowd started booing before they finally started playing at 9:30 The major problem is that it was 95 degrees. No one should be subjected to sit there that long in that heat. Once Zac started playing they were awesome. Probably the best performance I've ever seen its no wonder why they have propelled as fast as they have

I bought 9 tickets for the event back in February. ZBB is one of my favorite bands. I listened to all their music to prepare for the concert. I downloaded at least 30 songs so I could sing along with all of them at the concert. Show time on the ticket was 7:30 They started at 9:30. Obviously, I knew there would be an opening band--but it was 105 degrees at Summerfest--we wanted ZBB. Opening song: Keep Me in Mind! Awesome!!! Their live performance was fantastic. Lots of wasted time in between songs left the audience restless. Lots of solo instrumentals by the band Lots of cover music from other bands Lots of new songs that no one knew Lots of talking around the crowd instead of singing We ended up leaving the concert early to avoid the crowds leaving the Marcus. The music choices didn't make us want to stay to the very end. When I looked out over the crowd of 30,000 people and did a quick calculation of $50 per ticket-- a cool million and a half .... I wish they would have played the songs that people bought off iTunes and CD's that made them all rich! Don't get me wrong. ZBB is on my iPod 24/7. I guess it is better to hear the songs I love than in person.
