Zac Brown Band in Concert
Zac Brown is the founder, front man, and lead vocalist for the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning, southern rock group Zac Brown Band. In addition to being the founding member of Zac Brown Band and leading it through its overwhelming success, Brown is also credited as an impactful songwriter, producer, record label head, business man, and philanthropist - making him one of the sharpest minds among today's generation of artists focused on shifting the paradigm of the music business.
Brown was born in 1978 in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in a family of 12 children. Later on, Brown attended the University of West Georgia and in 2002, founded Zac Brown Band. Since then, Brown's passion shifted to music and he went on to start his own label, Southern Ground Artists, in 2003. From there, Brown's first widely distributed studio album with Zac Brown Band, The Foundation, sold more than 5 million copies making the album 5x platinum following its release in 2008. The lead song off The Foundation, "Chicken Fried," the band's first national release, also went 5x platinum with over 5 million sales and over 255 million streams. Brown has released four studio albums, two live albums, a greatest hits album, and an extended play produced by Dave Grohl, all with Zac Brown Band - now completely made up with Brown along with Jimmy De Martini, John Driskell Hopkins, Clay Cook, Chris Fryar, Coy Bowles, Daniel de los Reyes, and Matt Mangano.
Zac Brown Band's success can largely be attributed to Brown's interest in pushing creative boundaries through collaborations with top artists across genres including Avicii, Chris Cornell, Jimmy Buffett, Foo Fighters, Sheryl Crow, Sara Bareilles, and Jason Mraz to name a few. Most recently, Brown worked with Shawn Mendes on writing his latest single with Zac Brown Band titled "Someone I Used To Know," which debuted on Billboard's Hot Country Song Chart the week of its release in Nov. 2018. The new material comes as the band is preparing to kick off their "Down The Rabbit Hole Live," spring 2019 tour this coming March, following 2018's 31-stop summer tour of the same name.
Most recently, in December of 2018, Brown announced the launch of his new entertainment and lifestyle branded parent company, Zac Brown Collective, formerly known as Southern Ground. The reimagined company expanded its brand portfolio; further rising Brown's artistic and entrepreneurial pursuits to new heights. Zac Brown Collective brings together the best in music, film, food, fashion, custom design, and American-made gear to form a company made up of brands that are fully grounded in the "American experience."
Brown's commitment to giving back has also been at the forefront of his career since day one when he founded Camp Southern Ground. The camp, Brown's biggest passion, is an inclusive camp serving children ages 7-17 with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, social or emotional challenges, and typically developing children. The camp's off-season programming supports post 9/11 veterans in their readjustment to civilian life. Zac Brown Collective allocates funds and resources to the camp - making all of Brown's work beneficial to a cause dear to his heart. In 2017, Brown was honored with the CRS Humanitarian Award, presented annually to musicians who use their careers to serve others in need and contribute to the greater good. The award was presented to Brown for his work supporting our nation's veterans and for his nonprofit passion project Camp Southern Ground.
Zac Brown Band is represented by Creative Artists Agency, SB Projects, communications and branding agency JONESWORKS, & Zac Brown Collective.

The band was great. Atmosphere was comfortable. Good time was had by all. Just an overall good time.
All members of the band were so energized and played with such enthusism. Zac was very good. The talent and music ability is great. My only complaint was lack of leg room in the seats.
The BEST Show We have been to in a long time. They were amazing. This is one concert you don't want to miss. Be prepared, Zac Brown Band will ROCK THE JOINT !!!
While I've seen quite a few concerts at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center (America, Stevie Winwood, Moody Blues, amongst others), the same problem persists..the sounds system SUCKS!! Right at the beginning ( 2nd or 3rd song into ZBB's set), a GOD-awful feed-back buzz occurred. And, while that (gratefully) only happened once, the entire night's sound quality was continuously poor throughout both the opening act and the main event.. In spite of that, the opening act, Levi Lowrey was a VERY pleasant discovery..I became an instant fan of him & his band. As for the MAIN event, WOW!!! I have seen a lot of live shows, but I have NEVER seen as much outright joy brought to playing their music as did the Zac Brown Band. As they "flew" (literally) into their opening song, throughout their 2 1/2 hr set, each and every song was performed as if they were told this was their last chance to perform. Whether you're a fan or not, there wasn't anything left on the stage following their show. What a band! They played all their big hits, covered others (Aerosmith, Marshall Tucker, Pure Prairie League, Van Morrison, Charlie Daniels, just to name a few), and each song stood out on it's own merits. Their mix of country, folk, rock, blues, ballads,(and more), melded into one of the most perfect performances I've ever experienced. Don't peg this band as country, because the Zac Brown Band is defining their own style of music. Venue issues aside, you have to add this concert tour to your MUST-SEE list. If these guys come within 100 miles of your town, DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!
This was the best concert of my life, they sounded better then even any cd or radio play, every member of the band is as good as the next. Just can't say enough good for them.
Concert was a big success. Could not ask for more.
My friend and I left early-I did not care for all the "HIGH Tech" stuff and the music was so loud, i could not hear and understand the singer!! Too bad, i paid 75.00 for a wasted evening.
Was better than we expected seeing it was first show of their Tour.
Best live concert ever , you could tell they had put a lot of work into the show.
great vocals and instrumentation volume was perfect video behind the band was very well done i felt that the harnesses and cables were not the right effect for this band, but it was impressive pleased that each band member was showcased lighting was pretty good, but cant understand why the very white bright lights were shined into the audience when that happened i could barely see the stage, let alone the band
THEY WERE THEY BEST CONCERT I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME!!!
I would recommend this concert to everyone. They put on a good show.
The concert was amazing. The sound was great and to see some of the members of zac brown band fly was pretty cool. If I had missed it I would've been upset with myself.
We enjoyed the concert from start to finish. You can not help but get caught up in their energy. Harmonies were perfect and the music was awesome.
Some audio issues here and there. Lighting was great! Show format was great! Loved the mixing in of old hit songs we all love. Can't wait to see Zac and the guys again soon! Ken
I've been listening to the Zac Brown Band for about six months now and I really do enjoy listening to them! I took my boyfriend to see them live because he is a huge fan and thanks to him I am too! If country isn't your thing, they aren't as country as you would think. It's fun and cute songs, either about love or life. I highly recommend them live because it was an experience like no other! We enjoyed ourselfs and will mostlikely go again when they go on tour for their new albums! (:
I went to both Tampa and Daytona Beach shows and they were both different from each other but both were awesome. Loved it!!!!
The show was great! they did some new radical things, like fly around over the audience in harnesses. Stage side floor "seats" were awesome!
Zac Brown Band played not just their hits and some of their new stuff but played favorites from other artists as well . They didn't just stand and play they moved out onto runway of stage playing their instruments and then sat down on like old wooden coke crates and played in a semi circle format Zac Brown thanked the audience for spending our hard earned money to buy a ticket in todays tough economy . Total class act !!! Great music and time had by all Can't wait to see them again!!!!
After seeing Zac Brown Band last March with Kenny Chesney, we were hooked. When the ticket sales were announced, we knew we'd be going. Of course, they did NOT disappoint--outstanding performance despite the acoustical challenges at the Ocean Center. They played for at least 2 hours solid--high energy and amazing instrumentals. Can't wait to see them again!
