Young Nudy Background
Among the rising new wave of Atlanta emcees who keep pushing Dirty South rap to the fore is Young Nudy, a spirited and mischievous emcee who fiercely spits intoxicating rhymes about life in the gritty streets of the ATL. The 25-year-old artist — who hasn't revealed his government name — was kicked out of high school at age 14 and began immersing himself in East Atlanta's hardcore hip-hop lifestyle.
Though he was reluctant to assume a rapping role himself, old heads of the scene noticed Young Nudy's linguistic potential, and by 19 he was pushed to hop on the rap route. Then his cousin, 21 Savage, convinced the budding wordsmith to feature in 2015's "Air It Out" clip, a wicked aggro-trap number whose video displays a mob of thugs with guns blazing.
Because of Young Nudy's previous run-ins with the law, "music sh*t kept clashing, and it backfired," he told The Fader, thus getting him incarcerated several times. He didn't want to spend more time inside a cell, so once he got out, he started hanging in the studio.
There, he met Pi'erre Bourne, a then relatively unknown trap beatmaker behind some of Playboi Carti and 6ix9ine's hits. The South Carolina producer dug Nudy's tempered and unhurried flow and snuck him into the recording studio off the clock to begin working on the 2016 debut of his ‘Slimeball' series. They've followed up with a mixtape every year since. 2017's confessional ‘Nudy Land' LP saw the emcee exploring the tropes of Atlanta trap. For his latest, 2018 ‘SB3,' Nudy enlisted other producers in the mix.

"I come from the streets where this sh*t ain't sweet," slyly flows Young Nudy against a menacing trap beat off of "Sweep," the intro track to his ‘Slimeball' debut mixtape. With an unhurried, unapologetic demeanor, that's how the Atlanta rapper introduced himself as he arrived to the stage of Rolling Loud SoCal in 2017.
In 2018, the young emcee appeared at Trees in Dallas, and two days later made a stop at the Warehouse Live Studio in Houston. He performed hits off his ‘Slimeball' mixtape series and other features.

I felt the event was unorganized. all the other performers were before him and they were generic jumping around and rapping. the actual performance i came to see was a disappointment. he didn’t do much when he was on, he did what every other preformer did.
I buy a lot from ticket master not my favourite show but still enjoyed it
Tbh it was okay just wish it was a little bit longer n over packed but it was alright I guess just felt like a short show

I loveeee Young Nudy, so getting to see him in person was a top tier experience. He played all of the hits and all of us in the crowd were lit, so it just was an amazing experience that I’ll remember forever ❤️
nearly got jumped on in the crowd and was continuously being stepped on and hit in the head. Was trying to get out the crowd for 20-30 minutes and security never saw me until other people had to let them know. I get it was packed but they could check the whole length of the crowd.
It was good just the DJ was not it but the rest of the rappers was ok and young nudy was dope I like it

Very short performance. Whoever opened performed more than he did. Happy the concert tix we’re cheap so can’t complain too much.
I thought Nudy's performance was great and the set list was great as well. However, there was 6 openers and I get it that he wants to put people on but no one in the crowd liked them. It took nearly an hour and a half to get through all of their performances just to have Nudy perform for 30-35 minutes.
I love Nudy, so the show was dope. I just hated that it felt rushed and he did a bunch of snippets. I feel like the venue rushed him more so than him rushing, he even said himself he had a bunch more songs to perform but he had to go.
IT WAS EVERYTHING AND MORE!! Nudy did so well but I dont think he was expecting the turnout because his set was a lil short but other than that, the crowd was crazy, the vibe was amazing and 10/10 would definitely see again

Doors opened on time! All performers were on time! Wasn’t crowded! Nudy killed it but wish his set was longer!
One of the most fun concerts I’ve been too, genuinely. But waaaaaaay too short. Man played for 30 minutes 😐. Tickets were $35 so you do the math. So much fun, he could’ve gone twice as long, I would’ve paid for it too.
He was lit, his openers were lit, he was interactive with the audience, and he played hits. His set was short, but it was fun! It was live!
Paid $25 for a 25min concert, didn’t perform some of his biggest songs. Didn’t even perform more than 45 sec of each song….. highly disappointed
