    Even Better than expected

by Strippyhead on 11/13/11The Music Box - Hollywood

Already a fan... but damn, the passion they show onstage and their live mix is even better than I hoped for. Would give five stars, but I need to leave a little headroom for the future.

W.W.P.J. killed it at The Music Box

by socialj1 on 11/13/11The Music Box - Hollywood

W.W.P.J. were amazing at The Music Box in Hollywood. I didn't care for the opening acts, Royal Bangs & Bear Hands, but that's my own opinion! W.W.P.J. sounded just like there albums, if not better. Definitely worth the time and money!

by Adiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiina on 11/13/11The Music Box - Hollywood

The concert was so fun, the bands (the opening bands were good!), the people, and the atmosphere.

Most fun show I've been to all year!

by KeepingWarm on 11/2/11Webster Hall - New York

Absolutely loved it. All 3 bands: Bear Hands, Royal Bangs and We Were Promised Jetpacks are really coming into their own. I would highly recommend seeing any part of this show over anything else you're doing that night.

I want everyone to know about this band but at the same time I want to keep them all to myself! I loved the whole set.

    Amazing!

by Jetpacks on 11/1/11Webster Hall - New York

The crowd was so amazingly amped up and supportive of WWPJ. Was an incredibly good vibe. I was thoroughly impressed with the performance, in general.

    Floor shaking fun!

Everything about this show was incredible. Fun crowd, great music, the floor was undulating with the music. HIghly recommended.

    Jetpacks were great.

Lights, sightlines, and audio all great for show. Openers were good. Jetpacks sounded perfect.

Royal Bangs were a pretty good opener, but WWPJ just blew the crowd away. I could feel the floor bouncing during several songs because everyone was jumping the whole time.

    We Were Promised Jetpacks+ParadiseClub=EPIC!

by AshleyRaeK on 11/1/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Checked out We Were Promised Jetpacks, one of my favorites ever since I heard 'Quiet Little Voices' on satellite radio 2 years ago, completely left me out of breath and wanting more. Although not much to watch on stage (which is why I didnt rate 5/5) they certainly fed energy into the crowd with tight instruments, on key vocals, and a wicked set list. The Paradise Club, Boston, MA, itself was an unbelievable venue as well. The intimate interior and small crowd was perfect to experience WWPJ. They were so good (and after rocking the new CD hard after the show) I went and caught them down in NYC Sunday night.

Sound great but lack of energy made show boring.

by Ryoushi on 10/30/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

We Were Promised Jetpacks sound very good live but an overall lack of energy from almost every band member but their drummer kept things from being really interesting. I can say that I had fun but that I would not go out of my way to see them again. Keep on rocking guys, I know others definitely enjoyed the show more than I did.

    WWPJ = Unreal.

by mgm1321 on 10/30/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I've loved WWPJ for a while now, and I've seen them in their earlier stages when These Four Walls was just released, but the setlist combined their brand new album with their well-known stuff flawlessly. As far as the Paradise goes, I've seen 3 shows here and all of them have been amazing. No hiccups, awesome lighting, great view from anywhere, just an overall great experience.

    Unforgettable time

by Nolbear on 10/30/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Probably the best show I've ever been to. The energy was amazing and the band had great stage presence even though they didn't talk very much. The lead singer jumped around during the heavy guitar bits and the drummer was incredible. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone, fan or not. If you are a fan, you will leave very happy, and if you're not a fan, you will become one. I spent the entire show in front of the stage (it was general admission, so there was no seats). If you don't like standing, you're kind of out of luck. There's a balcony, but you have to stand there too. As far as I could tell there weren't any seats which afforded a view of the stage. I usually don't like standing, and it was a little annoying when all the drunk people were bumping into me (and a few people pushed me to the side because I'm tall and they couldn't see), but it's worth it to be close to the action.

    We Were Promised Jetpacks

by PDiddyandthefam on 10/30/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Great Show! First time seeing them and it went really well. The place wasn't too packed, good energy, but I couldn't imagine seeing a bigger band here as it would be overcrowded easy. The opening act didnt show up so that sucked. The only other negative was it was evident they had sound issues- the front man and other bassist kept looking up at the sound girl to turn the equilizer/volume up or down when the song started. Still sounded great and overall a great time. Send up free tickets!
