VNV Nation energizes the crowd, leaving you wanting for more!
It was my first time at The Showbox and I can't wait to return! The venue is gorgeous and there really isn't a bad view in the whole place! Straftanz opened right on time and got the mood set and the crowd pumped! VNV Nation was an experience I will never forget! I hope to see them come back! I danced so hard I broke my platform off my boots :)
VNV Nation put on an incredible, unforgettable show. Without a doubt this is a performance I will never forget. I cried, I laughed, and I got some agression out. What more could I ask for?
As always, VNV Nation provides a show to remember! The enthusiasm of the band members shows that they truly care about putting on a great performance, and that audience members are having a great time. Always a great time!
Another great show! Thank You so much Ronan and Mark. You guys are awesome.
This show was fun from beginning to end. The opening acts were good and quite entertaining. VNV Nation was amazing. Ronan is so personable, I love that he makes everyone feel like part of the show so that it is more of an experience than a concert. He stresses that while he doesn't care if you snap a few shots here and there or record a bit of the show, he wants you to step away from the camera and not miss the real thing. "Enjoy what you're seeing right with your eyes, don't end up watching the show through a 2 in screen and end up regretting it later." I've seen VNV Nation live 3 times now, and it always gets better...I would definitely recommend seeing them live at least once.
The show was just...amazing. It was the end of the tour, and the crowd was fantastic. Ronan got teary-eyed at one point, talking about how much he loved this crowd. The energy was high, the atmosphere was great, and everyone just had so much fun.
vnv nation put on a subpar performance that made me wish all of those years i was the niagra falls area and was constantly invited that i would have actually gone.
The night Started out with an hour of System Syn. Only two of their members were there, but they still were great. They were a wonderful opening act for VnV nation. In fact I wish they'd have played just a tad bit longer. After System syn left the stage the mingled with the crowd, talked with everyone, which is pretty cool. Then VnV nation came on and just exploded. The lighting displays were Wow, the music killer. Just everything was amazing. They played over 2 and a half hours, with at least two 4 song encores. If you didnt go this time. Find them somewhere and GO! If you werent there, I feel sorry for you.
If you love Industrial/Futurepop/EBM VNV Nation is not to be missed. They are just plain amazing and Brooklyn went crazy for them.
VNV love their FANS! They interacted with the audience, made sure we were enjoying the show, they performed for an extra 45 minutes when they could have left when the show was scheduled to be done. They work the audience and we worked them, awesome performance!
Second time i saw them in new york on their faith power and glory tour and both shows were amazing. incredible music!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is my 5th time seeing VNV live and each time they only get better. It was my first time at the music hall was nice, but they need to be more organize with the sound system and lighting over all had a great time and would attend again hopefully soon VNV are the best at what they do
The show was amazing. Ayria was so adorable lol. "Gotherobics." My legs are so sore from all the dancing! ahhh. Good crowd and some funny jokes were cracked on stage. lol.
Lots of energy, great crowd, overall a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed the venue, I loved that they let us hang around as late as they did so we could meet the band if we wanted to. The venue had a great set up and I'd love to have a reason to go there again. VNV Nation and Ayria were both really fun. Great energy, they really know how to get a crowd going.
VNV always puts on the best show. Ronan is so interactive with his audience, beyond anything I've seen from any other lead singers. The bond he and they share with their fans is untouchable, and their music, from the dancy and upbeat stuff to their ballads, always gives you a warm feeling inside. Top-notch in every way, shape, matter, and form ;-)
A lot of the time, when you go to see a synth or goth/industrial band live, it will go one of two ways. It can sound incredible, like you're in the club and the DJ is spinning the tunes, or it can sound blah. VMV Nation was neither. They were BRILLIANT! The Music Hall of Williamsburg was packed with the scene, and we all danced the WHOLE time! My legs are still sore from all the dancing! I would definitely go see them again. If I was a fan before, I am a member of their LEGION now!!!
parking was a nightmare crowd was great, sound decent, show ok, singer kept repeating same "jokes" over and over, we left before ending
VNV Nation is a band that never dissapoints. This was my 4th VNV show in as many years and whenever I hear they are coming to town I make sure to get my tickets. The energy is amazing and Ronan does not settle for the audience just standing around and watching as he wants you to EXPERIENCE the show. Do not be anywhere near the front and have the gall to text or be on your phone because he will call you out on it. SITD could not make it as the opening band because of some beaurocratic difficulties and to make up for it VNV played some extra songs. This band is a must see live.
VNV is always exceptional but the show last night, the energy, the set... blew me away. sooo good! <3
