    Have seen them 7 times and they are better each time. The difference between Cold Cave and other modern synth dark wave bands is simply the song quality

    Even though the keyboardist kept getting smoked out by the persistent fog machines, to where she completely disappeared (though she seemed completely unphased) it was a rockin' show. Great showmanship from the band and Eishold of course, a good venue if you're on the balcony to get a prime view, though the intimate size of the space allowed you to feel the energy of the music and good vibes off everyone - to which everyone seemed to be enjoying the show. Although, Eishold's vocals could have been punched up, so you could actually make out the lyrics. Overall, intimate, good-sized venue. Great band sound and showmanship. Cold Cave fans will not be disappointed. High recommend catching this band anywhere they are playing if you want a great performance, high-energy, rockin' night.
