THE BOOK OF MORMON ON TOUR
The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical. Contains explicit language.
Beautiful music and lots of food for thought. The bottom line was meaningful. Getting there was a ride.
Loved the show. Well produced. Excellent staff at the theater helping folks as well. Thank you for offering this show! So glad we went.
I had very little knowledge other than it was supposed to be a very fun and crass show - and it definitely lived up to that. Definitely worth seeing.
The show was hilarious!! I was crying. I have seen the show several times in different cities. The cast in the Rochester performance was the best! They had chronically and had an outstanding performance. I highly recommend this show to people with an open mind who enjoy laughing.
My wife and I were fortunate to be able to attend the matinee show on 5/4/2024 in Rochester. Most matinees feature the alternates/understudies and this show was no exception. I kept thinking how amazing these actors were, considering they were the understudies and not the main actors for the parts. THEY WERE SUPER TALENTED! The show itself is hilarious and provides a very humorous take on the Mormon religion....which was actually started in Rochester, NY... There were actually times during the show where I couldn't really believe I was seeing what I was seeing at that moment. (You'll have to see it to understand). The singing, dancing, and overall acting ability portrayed by the cast throughout the show was outstanding. Humor in theater can sometimes be overdone...but the tone set by the cast was just right. It made for a very entertaining afternoon - one that I will not soon forget.
Enjoyed it immensely. I had trouble hearing th3 words in the songs so I missed some humor. You don't need to know about the Mormon religion to enjoy the show. It's all explained in the beginning. I
From the balcony the audio was not great as the actors words seemed to all run together or un listenable. The music was great
This show was awesome from start to finish. The cast was top notch. The energy of the show was electric. The singing and dancing wad stellar. Loved it all! I would highly recommend seeing this show!!!
Parking was great, theatre was beautiful, lines were decent, and show was great!
We really enjoyed the Book of Mormon. It was a beautifully performed & orchestrated comedy musical. If you have the opportunity to see it, I suggest you go for it!
