PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure on Tour

In the latest live-action adventure spectacle from every kid's favorite cartoon dog squad, Ryder and his crew of ever-resourceful pups must save their bumbling, seafaring friend Cap'n Turbot after he gets lost in a cave ā€” just as Mayor Goodway's Pirate Day festival celebrations are set to begin on Adventure Bay.Ā

En route to the rescue, the team finds a treasure map and sets out to find the booty for Mayor Goodway's event before their dastardly rival Mayor Humdinger (from the nearby town of Foggy Bottom) gets to the goods first. With dog-suited dancing actors bringing the show's beloved canine characters to life before big-screen animated backdrops, The Great Pirate Adventure is an energetic musical revue featuring all the familiar theme music from the show and brand-new songs exclusive to this production. It also features a special appearance from the newest member of the PAW Patrol team, Tracker.

PAW Patrol Live! The Great Pirate Adventure BackgroundĀ

Marshall! Rubble! Chase! Rocky! Zuma! Skye! Many parents know these names as well as those of their own children. They're the tireless cartoon pooches comprising the PAW Patrol, the all-in-one eco-conscious police/fire/construction/aviation/naval team who, along with their trusted preteen ringleader Ryder, maintain peace and order in the picturesque town of Adventure Bay.Ā

Since debuting on Nickelodeon in 2013, the Canadian CGI series has become a staple of preschoolers' TV diets, while its Daytime Emmy-nominated, pop-punk-inspired theme song has become permanently lodged in the brains of parents around the world. (Not that they mind, since the show instills in their kids positive messages about the values of teamwork, nonviolent conflict resolution, and environmental preservation.)Ā

After spawning a toy store's worth of merchandising lines, PAW Patrol made the leap to the stage in 2017 with the internationally touring production Race to the Rescue. That was followed by the sea-themed sequel, The Great Pirate Adventure, that set sail in 2018.

    Awesome!

by Afton on 2/28/24Old National Centre - Indianapolis

This was a cute show and our 5 year old grandson LOVED it though he was hoping to meet Chase. The cast, costumes & the pace was good. My only comment is at times it was hard to hear what was being said. I don't know it was the theater, where we were sitting or what. After the show we had our photo taken since we didn't notice any Paw Patrol signage that we could take our own. We thought the price was reasonable and the photographer was really good.

Absolutely the biggest waste of time, Took my 4 yr old grandson and it was mind numbing. If this is the standard for the next generation, the world is in trouble.

    Upset with parking

by Katlyn on 2/27/24Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Itā€™s a little misleading. The website live nation offers parking ahead of time and you pay 30$ to secure a spot and then you get there itā€™s only 15$ to park in the parking lot. I felt robbed. I did not like that aspect and I recommend nobody pay for parking ahead of time because itā€™s 15$ cheaper when you actually arrive. I would never pay for parking ahead of time.

Paw Patrol was very well performed and prepared. Cast was professional and very creative. All were in sync and did a wonderful job keeping children's attention and staying with storyline.

    Fun Show

by Kris on 2/27/24Old National Centre - Indianapolis

Overall, my son had a really good time at the show. He was engaged during the entire show and really enjoyed seeing all of the characters. The only negative was the confetti release at the end which was loud and startling. I think parents should have been given a heads up about this. Some children were frightened and crying at the end of the show.

    Rude crowd

by NLehman on 2/27/24Old National Centre - Indianapolis

The show was good, I think, but we couldn't enjoy it because people were showing up late, getting up and down often, and just being generally rude. Stricter rules on tardiness and movement would be nice. Bubbles should not be allowed to be turned on at all during the show. Seating was much more available than appeared on the website once we got there (we could have picked much better seats).

Fun exciting event, but bright flashing lights

by AH on 2/20/24Landmark Theatre - Syracuse

Paw Patrol Live is an exciting event for all the little ones and adults too. They are engaging and the energy is fantastic. The only complaint I had for this show is that they kept flashing very bright lights onto the crowd. It made the entire event uncomfortable and most of the show was difficult to see. The worst part is that we were sitting in a very dark theater and then all of a sudden had the bright lights in our faces.

    Poor Value

by David Trimner on 2/9/24EagleBank Arena - Fairfax

This was one of the worst entertainment value/cost experiences I have ever had. The audio went out in the first 20 minutes and the rest of the show was incomprehensible. In addition, this is a show with enormous dog costumes basically standing around and dancing from one foot to the other. Boring even for a 4-year old. A majority of the audience left before the event was over, some because of the audio, but more because the children were completely bored. After the excitement of seeing the dogs on stage, there is nothing to keep a toddler engaged. Add in the $15 charge for a cup of lemonade, a box of popcorn, or a bag of cotton candy, and this is very expensive for what you get.

    Paw Patrol Fairfax VA

by Sky on 2/7/24EagleBank Arena - Fairfax

Cute show for toddlers however the audio was awful and they never even tried to fix it. After the intermission I fully expected it to be working as it should but nope. Couldnā€™t hear a thing.

    Cute show

by BC on 2/7/24EagleBank Arena - Fairfax

I took my 4 year old Granddaughter. I did feel the ticket prices bit high for Children. Also, we sat on side and w some of the show having to guess clues it was hard to see all the clues. Would have been nice to have a screen set up for the people on the sides. So if you go, hopefully can sit in middle so you see the whole stage. Luckily, my Granddaughter is 4 and it did not bother her.
