South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball History
The South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team is one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Legendary head coach Dawn Staley has built a perennial powerhouse, making South Carolina one of the elite teams in women’s college basketball year after year. In her 17-year tenure, Staley has led the Gamecocks to 13 NCAA Tournaments, winning three of them including the program’s first in 2017. Additionally, South Carolina has won nine SEC regular season championships and nine SEC tournaments, and has appeared in 15 Sweet Sixteens and seven Final Fours overall. The Gamecocks captured their second National Championship in 2022, then went undefeated (38-0) for the first time in school history en route to their third title in 2024, followed by their fourth National Championship game appearance in 2025.

South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball at Colonial Life Arena
The University of South Carolina Gamecocks play at Colonial Life Arena, an on-campus venue that opened in 2002. The arena holds 18,000 for basketball games. Besides being the home of the Gamecocks’ men’s and women’s basketball teams, Colonial Life Arena hosts the South Carolina High School Basketball Championships every year.

By far the best game of the year. The atmosphere was outrageous, and lively the whole game. The best players in the SEC going head to head with a nail biting, heart pounding finish by the awesome Lady Gamecock! Best game I've attended all year. You can bet I'll be a season ticket holder next year!
I gave my husband tickets to the USC Women's basketball game against Vanderbilt - a very well-received and appreciated Valentine's gift. This team is one to be proud of! Every team member played impressively and kept us both riveted. Cannot wait to go to another!
My 1st game and the fans were great. You can sit almost anywhere. Super setting with a crowd of about 13,000 to chear them on.

This was our first time attending a USC Women's Basketball game. We are huge fans and the game did not disappoint. The atmosphere was very lively, entertaining and fun. And the women played well and won. The traffic in flowed well, the check in process flowed well and the traffic leaving flowed well. We have no complaints and can not wait until the next game! Go Lady Gamecocks. It was amazing seeing Dawn in person she is an absolute professional and I love those coaching faces.
Got my daughter tickets for the game for Christmas, she took two friends with her, had a wonderful time. Already have tickets for the Carolina vs Kentucky game...can't wait. Tickets affordable, so that you can treat your kids more often.
Tickets were kind of complex to download. Other than that, everything was great!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the Carolina vs Clemson game. We are huge Gamecock fans but rarely get to attend games. Seeing this awesome team beat Clemson was just icing on the cake!!! The only not so good experience was that our tickets were general admission and there was no identification of where we could not sit. We arrived early and sat in what we thought were general admit seats but was told later we had to move. By this time all of the good general admit seats were gone. Also, folks that bought tickets the evening of, were assigned seats in the general admit section causing others that arrived early to give up their seats!!! That was not cool. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves. The Gamecoks made up for it all and then some!!!
This was the best season by far for USC women's basketball. Dawn staley & staff have done a wonderful job helping push these ladies for greatness. Shoutout to this SEC win!!!
Great afternoon! Watching the lady Gamecocks at home was a great way to spend a weekend afternoon. The ticket prices were very family friendly, the arena and parking were easy to get to, the concessions were reasonable and the facility was very clean. We'll be back!
we had great GA seats and the girls played well.They took over 1st place in the SEC !!!
