The Gamecocks women’s basketball team is coming off their best season in school history after winning the 2017 NCAA National Championship, their first in schools history. Head Coach, Dawn Staley, has built a perennial powerhouse, making one South Carolina one of the elite teams in women’s college basketball year after year. Colonial Life Arena has been home to the Gamecocks basketball program since 2002. With a seating capacity of 18,000, it is one of the largest college basketball venues in the country.
These talented women can put me to shame. Game was very exciting, energetic and fantastic quality time for my family. We are now new fans of the Women's Basketball team and will be back as often as we can.
