South Carolina Gamecocks Women’s Basketball History
The South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team is one of the most prestigious programs in the country. Legendary head coach Dawn Staley has built a perennial powerhouse, making South Carolina one of the elite teams in women’s college basketball year after year. In her 17-year tenure, Staley has led the Gamecocks to 13 NCAA Tournaments, winning three of them including the program’s first in 2017. Additionally, South Carolina has won nine SEC regular season championships and nine SEC tournaments, and has appeared in 15 Sweet Sixteens and seven Final Fours overall. The Gamecocks captured their second National Championship in 2022, then went undefeated (38-0) for the first time in school history en route to their third title in 2024, followed by their fourth National Championship game appearance in 2025.

The University of South Carolina Gamecocks play at Colonial Life Arena, an on-campus venue that opened in 2002. The arena holds 18,000 for basketball games. Besides being the home of the Gamecocks’ men’s and women’s basketball teams, Colonial Life Arena hosts the South Carolina High School Basketball Championships every year.

I needed to purchase three tickets. When I used 3 as a filter, your site was only showing the general admission areas for multiple tickets. When I got to the arena, there were plenty of empty seats available in the lower areas.

Would be nice to have a seat/row chart and not just a section chart available for selecting seats. Would also be for this to be on the website. We had a great time!
I purchased tickets. Tickets had a seat assignment but when were arrived, we were told it was general admission and the seat assignment on the tickets meant nothing. It was a sold out event so trying to find 4 seats together was a challenge. They let people “hold” seats. Larger sized people were purposely taking up 2 seats. There should be some policy or practices related to general admission.
I wish I had known about the GA didn't know it was first come first serve. They need to change this I had pretty decent seats according to the number on my ticket. Let's not talk about the people who were saving seats. I can see how this can be a problem and cause a problem for others. Other than this Great game Gamecocks.
Great game day experience. I purchased a ticket that stated I had an assigned seat but upon arrival I found out that was not the case. Very disappointed in the process. False advertisement. I choose the location online yet seating was general. Poor advertisement.
If you go and get general admission(GA) seats get there early. No assigned seating even though it’s on your ticket. First come first serve..
There were some changes in the game opponent like 1 day before game day. Ole miss was not the team I payed to see SC play. Ticketmaster would not give me a refund back or credit. Some people should have been able to get a refund or credit. I wasnt even able to pick another day on their schedule, so i wouldn't waste any money. Money was wasted
USC Gamecocks Womens basketball is what I needed after some long weeks of work. I enjoy every bit of there culture and I’m their biggest fan. 🐔🤙🏾
I appreciate they rescheduled the game on the same day. I don’t get to make it to a lot of games because of my work and church schedule. The only thing I didn’t like was that the food was cold.
Ran out of pizza before halftime General Admission seating is the worst. Refs were bad

With over 10 thousand fans in the arena it is easy to see why the South Carolina women's basketball team is the best in the country. The band and dj were terrific, the timeout events were entertaining, and the entry and exit were quick and easy.
This was are first time going to a game is was fun my daughter is looking into colleges to play basketball at and carolina definitely impressed.
Great place to check out any type of event. Enjoyed watching the Lady Gamecocks beat the Lady Huskies.
The energy was crazy the win against UConn was the extra added bonus ❗❗
