I've been going to UNCSA's Nutcracker for years, and I like many aspects of the new version (costumes, new party scene, etc) but the level of the students has been steadily declining. Just not as much talent as there used to be. In the past, at Steven's Center, you could not tell these were students. Now it's very obvious. I don't know if I can spend that money again on a production that doesn't suspend disbelief. Is talent drying up or just going elsewhere?? I will say, the dancers playing Clara and Fritz held it together. bravo

A beautiful holiday tradition, expertly choreographed and danced with an exceptional orchestra. Love the Tanger venue. UNCSA keep coming to Greensboro for this and other performances.

I’ve been blessed to take each of my granddaughters to see the Nutcracker. It was always a joy to see each of their reactions as they watched for the first time. This holiday I had the blessing of taking my Great Granddaughter and her joy was contagious.

Professional level show, friendly workers, theater has beautiful views, bustling activity was just enough but not too crowded to move about - Can't wait to see it again next year!

UNCSA's Nutcracker was an amazing performance!!! I've seen multiple company performances of the Nutcracker and this was by far the best! We were even at the last night and the energy was still excellent! The dancers were fantastic and the costumes/props were beautiful. The Tanger Center and staff were also wonderful. It was a lovely holiday evening.

Through the years, our family has seen the Nutcracker numerous times. It had been a couple years since we had been the dancing was excellent. The costumes were excellent as was the music and the scenery. However, there were subtle changes that I didn’t like as much such as how the mouse king died. In this version, the Arabian dancer that did not dance behind a screen, the angels that had never been in other performances from the past. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and performance, but we were a little disappointed with the changes that were made, which were very minor, but we didn’t expect that to change.
