University of North Carolina School of the Arts Presents The Nutcracker Tickets

An absolutely beautiful performance. Everything it was done well.

I thought the ballet was absolute perfection, from the dance and costumes to the orchestra's playing. I was moved to tears during one movement, it was so poignant and beautiful!

This has been a Christmas Tradition in our Family for the last 10 years. It is always a wonderful experience each time since each year there is a little something different each time. We love the Tanger Center experience with every show we have seen and the Nutcracker was no exception.

This show was very good. Timing, the music. I have seen several over the years and thought this was amazing.

My wife and I together with our adult children and grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed this superb performance of the Nutcracker in the beautiful Tanger Center for the Performing Arts. We have previously seen the ballet many times in large cities throughout the US and all of us were astounded by the exceptionally high quality of the production including the scenery, music, and choreography by the UNC School of the Arts students. Cudos and Bravo!!

Thoroughly enjoyable! Wonderful and talented performers. Terrific sets and costumes. Only downside was the ridiculous parking situation (and the kid kicking the back of my seat!!)

Rainy start to the event and the Steven Tanger Center. But the rain did not dampen spirits or the excitement of being there for the performance of The Nutcracker. The NC School of the Arts never disappoints! We very much enjoyed the show but looking forward to returning to the Stevens Center next year in Winston Salem! The Stevens Center feels more like home for this performance as we have been attending for many years.

The performance was very good and the band was spectacular. I forgot I was watching students perform it was so professional. It was 10 years since we had seen the SOA perform this. Very nice!

It is always a delight to see the UNCSA production of The Nutcracker but having attended for over 50 years I will have to say that I prefer the older editions. This year’s performance was lovely, the dancers were excellent. Also the orchestra was wonderful, but I do miss some of the elements of earlier productions.

We have the Nutcracker for years and UNCSA has presented a professional, grand performance including amazing costumes, venue and set design. This was absolutely one of the worst performances I have seen presented by UNCSA. Dances were not clean, many bumbles and many cast members should not have been cast in the roles. So sad for us to spend that kind of money on tickets and go to a sub-par performance. Disappointed that UNCSA took this to the stage.

From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and warmth. It was raining and a greeting was there with a bag to place our wet umbrella in. Ushers were very polite and accommodating. The show was phenomenal as always!

It has been an annual tradition for our family to see the UNCSA performance of The Nutcracker in Winston-Salem at the Stevens Center since our girl was 3 years old. We love the historical charm that the Stevens Center offers for such a classic performance, but it certainly was showing its age. While it is being renovated, we drove to Greensboro to view it at the Tanger Center. The performance was beautiful, as always. We saw the same dramatic stage design, colorful costumes and beautiful music. The sound was certainly different than we were accustomed to in the more intimate Stevens Center, and the long rows of seats meant we had to stand up often for viewers to pass since there were few aisles. We'll be glad when this beautiful performance is back at the Stevens Center!

The show was wonderfully done. The dancing and music were well done which made for an enjoyable afternoon. First time to this venue and was impressed on how nice the facility was, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was raining hard, and the staff was prepared and got everyone inside in a timely manner. The bar service was very fast and allowed us to get another drink during intermission.

My family and I enjoyed every second of show. Such amazing talent and the music is always goose bump inducing!
