About

The Ultimate Fighting Championship on Tour

The most elite fighters in mixed martial arts do battle against each other in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. In just over 25 years, MMA has grown into one of the most popular of combat sports, and UFC has grown to become the name to know in mixed martial arts. Some of the greatest fighters in history have been associated with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While the brand has continued to grow worldwide, on pay-per-view, and with the hit reality series The Ultimate Fighter, UFC action is best experienced at the dozens of live events produced each year.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship originally started with a tournament at Denver, Colorado's McNichols Sports Arena on November 12, 1993. It was an exhibition to determine which of a multitude of combat styles were the most effective, including kickboxing, kenpo, shootfighting, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Out of this evolved what is now known as mixed martial arts, where fighters combine several styles in order to knock out their opponents or drive them into submission. UFC entered the world of women's mixed martial arts in 2012 with the signing of Ronda Rousey, and has quickly become the premier organization for women's MMA as well.

UFC sanctions titles in nine weight classes, with women competing in the strawweight, flyweight, bantamweight, and featherweight classes. Men compete in the flyweight classes and beyond as well as lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight divisions.

Ultimate Fighting Championship bouts are fought using the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts, passed by the New Jersey State Athletic Commission in 2001 and adopted by North America's other governing bodies over the next decade. UFC fights are judged by the "10-point must system," for three to five rounds lasting three minutes each. Fights must end either by submission, knockout, technical knockout, decision, disqualification, forfeit, or in a no contest.

    Great venue, great show

by Ginny on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

This was my first time going to a UFC fight, and it was incredible! I bought these tickets for my boyfriend’s Christmas present and it was honestly even better than I expected. The crowd was great, the fights were such a great show, and the venue was great as well. I’m so grateful that the UFC also offered free entry for the weigh-ins and the UFC 300 q&a. The Honda Center honestly doesn’t have a “bad” seat in the venue. We were on a higher level and could still see the fights perfectly. A perfect way to spend a weekend in Anaheim and excited to go to more fights in the future!

    Pure Entertainment!

by Ron on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

UFC 298 In Anaheim, California was one of the best events I’ve ever attended. From the fan events outside the venue to the inside of the arena, the overall experience was great! Thank you UFC for a memorable night. Hope we can have a lot more ufc fights here in California!!!

Rather Buy PPV and watch in my Living Room

by Jester on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

The fights are way more exciting to watch on tv. The crowd was on the trashy side and at times I didn’t feel safe. If I said anything that the people around me disagreed with, I was being told. Shocking that Anaheim has low class people.

    Fun but expensive

by TgTruth on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

Really fun event and the seats weren’t horrible considering how high up they were. Loved the atmosphere but the seats were tiny and super uncomfortable. Also, the concessions were absolutely ridiculous. $20 for a bottle of water. Pretty much everything was $20 or higher. Next time I’ll be stuffing my pants with sandwiches and snacks. C

    Incredible Experience

by Tom on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

I decided to go in on a ticket for floor seats in the 4th row. Certainly not cheap, but it was a once in a lifetime experience that I can’t put a price on. The Honda Center is a great venue and the whole production of a live UFC event is really something to behold.

    Best vibes

    Didn’t deliver for me

by KeithMurrayLA on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

I’ve been to 18 live UFC events so far and this was the least entertaining and the highest priced. Prices get higher and cards get weaker. Low level prelims and the mostly uneventful PPV card just weren’t worth the price this time.

The best fighting the best. What’s not to love about a UFC event.

Metal object pin front of tv screen

by Mrs Altman on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

Our only complaint was there was a metal object in front of the tv screen when we’re looking on the tv in front of us other than that great experience next time will get tickets on the other side of the octagon .

Floor Seats are not worth it

by Johnny Bravo on 2/20/24Honda Center - Anaheim

Unless you get in rows 1-3 on the floor, why are you paying so much not to see the fight? You dont see things when they hit the mat, and have to look around all the rows in front of you to try and see stand up. Waste of a lot of money :(

My experience living from the far north.

by Easternlogic on 2/1/24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I wanted to watch Jan Carl Alexander and Dominik but they were cancelled so I lost money going to the event, and living all the way from northern Canada that hurt 😞 But all in all I had an ok experience in Toronto. Thank you Dana!

    Good experience overall

by Josh on 1/23/24Scotiabank Arena - Toronto

I atteneded UFC 297. Tickets were extremely expensive and we lost multiple big names on the card with no replacements, so that was a bit of a letdown... Overall I am a huge fan of the UFC and would do it all over again.
