UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell is an off-shoot of UB40, the reggae-pop band from Birmingham, England. Best known for their No. 1 hits “Red Red Wine” and “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” the original incarnation of UB40 formed in 1978 led by frontman Ali Campbell, but was splintered when Campbell and Mickey Virtue left in 2008 over a management dispute. Fellow band member Astro then exited in 2013 and soon after, the trio began recording new music starting with their 2014 single “Reggae Music.” Multiple albums followed, but Virtue eventually left the new iteration of the group in late 2018. Astro sadly passed away in November 2021 after he and Campbell had completed recording of their fourth album, Unprecedented.

Another great show at Scarborough open air theatre. Ali never disappoints. I only ever see Ali Campbell as to me he is and always will be the voice of UB40. All the favourites sang. And love Frank he’s great to get the crowd going
UB40 feat. Ali Campbell was incredible once again, he never disappoints. But this particular night their setlist satisfied all of our favorites, we did not leave feeling like a song we were hoping for was not included. That rarely happens with a band that has such an extensive library. San Diego loves this group, we have never missed their show. This is the ONLY UB40 band to see live, with Ali Campbell singing the songs the way they were meant to be heard. Don’t be tricked! Special thanks to Amy from Orange County, my special angel on this fabulous night!!!

Excellent Show! Amazing to See them Up Close And Personal In GREAT SEATS. Actually the Artists entered where my seat was located. I had the opportunity to see them and say Hello. Glad to See Ali Back Out There! Great Night!! Thank You UB40 For A Great Experience :)
UB40 was groovin as always great band!!! A word about Humphreys never buy center aisle seats you will be overrun!!! When the lights go out everyone jams up front no crowd control AT ALL!!! Lots of ushers and security but no effort to keep aisle clear that’s when fights start!!! And if you don’t leave a little early good luck only one way out!!!
Outstanding concert by a legend! Thank you Ali for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your unmatched voice and talent, LIVE! Please come back to Southern California as soon as you can! I have not and would not spend my time or money on the other “so-called UB40 band.” As far as I’m concerned they’re a cover band to what you created. Without your great voice there is no UB40!
I grew up listening to UB40 and this concert was absolutely amazing! Ali Campbell sounds just like he did in the 90s!
It was a night to remember,full of energy and leaving everyone yearning for more,it’s impossible to believe the energy Campbell has after all these years
More leg room to tight not enough space forced to be tight
The show far surpassed my expectations. Sound was amazing and UB40 kept the energy the whole time. Staff at the venue were some of the friendliest I've met. Venue was clean and well maintained. My only criticism is we had a tough time navigating the area, I feel like the signage could be better. But I'd definitely go back.
