The opening act was disappointing. Trombone Shorty and the rest of the band kept their show entertaining from start to finish. We got there early and had comfortable seats in the balcony.
The sound quality at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto fell far short. The bass drum distortion in the balcony area was really bad and the vocals were not clear. A disservice to Trombone Shorty’s incredible talent.
Hardest working man in show business, now! Always a solid, high energy show!
I'm a big fan of trombone shorty. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed on this particular show. The doors opened up at 7:30 p.m.. the band did not start until 9:30 p.m. and they only played for 1 1/2 hrs and did not come out front encore. I walked out of there slightly disappointed.
Terrible venue. Show started over 2 hours late. No seating and was extremely overcrowded. Hard to enjoy a fantastic band when strangers’ bodies are rubbing against you. No more Culture Room for us.
First time seeing Trombone Shorty. What a great show. It was a lot of fun.
One of the best concerts I’ve seen in Charleston the music was amazing the seats were great and Ticketmaster made it convenient to enter and enjoy the music
Saw Trombone Shorty on Halloween night in Charleston, SC. I bought the tickets as a gift for my husbands birthday. I knew he would enjoy the show because he is a fan but, honestly, I didn’t expect to like it. Boy was I wrong!! The show was fantastic! Great energy and positive vibes in the theater that night . Had an awesome time and would definitely recommend this show to everyone- even those who think it may not be for them. WELL DONE and thank you for the fun night
We had been wanting to see Trombone Shorty for some time so, when we saw he was going to be 4 hrs away in Charleston, we couldn't miss the chance. The show was held at the Riviera Theater, a beautiful historic venue that seats only 600. It was a great setting for a very entertaining high- energy show. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
If you've never seen Trombone Shorty live don't miss the next time he comes to Albany. Best live concert I've seen in years, a lot of interaction with the audience and great performance by Shorty and the band.
Troy and his band always put on a great show. The egg is a great venue to see a concert.
Shorty and his entire band were incredible at The Egg in Albany! Shorty is an absolute beast on both trombone and trumpet. Every member of his band is ready to throw down at the drop of a hat. I am very familiar with his studio stuff but --the live performance far exceeded my expectations, turned back around, came all the way back to me, and stomped those expectations straight into the dirt. Well worth the price of admission!
Great show as always, but way to short. Ticket prices are going up, and the time the band plays is going down...not a good formula for success. Played for slightly over an hour with a DJ (what were they thinking) as an opening act. Would rather have seen a live performer, as I have Spotify to listen to great hits.
Heard and saw him at the egg. Great show. Great performer don’t miss him if he comes to your town will definitely see him next year
Overall, a good time @ Toyota Music Factory. We got upgraded from lawn seats to floor, which was a good deal. The a/c was working ok, and the back of the theater was shut on a hot Texas night. Great performance from Mavis Staples, as always. Trombone Shorty was awesome. Extremely high energy. (could probably back off on the strobing LED lights)
Trombone Shorty at Toyota Pavilion in Irving, Tx was great! Had been to the venue once before and it is really good except for a few seats in the upper sections that are behind poles. Normally they have big screens to watch but not this night. It was not sold out so we were able to move to an empty seat with good sight lines. Sound is good. We also opted for a VIP lounge ticket that had A/C, full bar, and private restrooms. Worth it. All 4 acts were great. Highly recommend
Wonderful show, great venue with solid sound. It was hot outside and we were concerned about the venue, but it was inside! T. Shorty was too fantastic to describe - he and his team bring it every time! I hadn’t see Ziggy before and he and his team were a welcome surprise. I’m now a fan for life! I’ll never miss the opportunity to see either artist wherever I am.
Great show. Super high energy. Outstanding musicians that have way too much fun playing! One of the best concerts I’ve been to in a long time. The opening acts were terrific too.
Mavis Staple did a better than anticipated performance at age 84, she had the house rocking. Ziggy Marley had a great performance of his 8 Grammy hits and some of his dads. Good back up band. Trombone Shorty was absolutely phenomenal. Killer sound, outstanding backup and light show. Roll them all together, WHAT A SHOW!
