TREY ANASTASIO IN CONCERT:

Trey Anastasio's music transcends the walls of traditional rock -- whether he's leading the band Phish with his unique vocals or composing original licks on his Martin guitar, Anastasio proves his virtuosity as an extremely well-rounded musician. Although he's played alongside a diverse group of acts ranging from Dave Matthews to the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Anastasio always returns to his roots as a guitarist and composer, captivating audiences with his grand use of arpeggios and improvisation at his live shows. Hitting the road with a number of different bands, Anastasio will treat fans to hit-filled sets on his highly anticipated summer tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Born in Texas, Trey Anastasio got his start in college as the frontman of legendary jam band Phish, performing at local house parties for fellow classmates. The band rose to fame in the late '80s with their cult debut Phish (The White Tape), and eleven more albums followed over the course of their three-decade career. During the band's run, Anastasio released ten solo records, including an orchestral album and a collaboration between Primus' Les Claypool (bass) and Police's Stewart Copeland (drums) called Oysterhead. Not only has he had an expansive collection of hits, but he's also dabbled in chamber music and scoring for theater, composing a number of orchestral pieces and penning music for the Broadway musical Hands on a Hardbody. Anastasio has a packed summer tour ahead, and he's sure to delight fans as he performs with the Trey Anastasio Band, Phish, and the LA Philharmonic.

  • One of the most disappointing shows

by Mike A on 12/3/25The Fillmore Detroit - DetroitRating: 2 out of 5

I have seen dozens of shows at the Fillmore, previously The State Theater, and I doubt if I will ever go back. TAB is one of my favorite acts and his performance was great as always, but Live Nation is to blame. They could not get 2800 people into the venue on time for the start of the show. I missed most of the first set waiting in line for 2 hours then I was searched in a manner similar to an airport which is ridiculous for a small concert venue after being told by Ticketmaster there would be no search just a metal detector which was a lie. This was likely the reason for the wait to get in. In addition, the event was so oversold there was no actual viewing space for GA ticket holders and spent a majority of the show listening from the lobby. Even the premium seating area which I visited briefly was so small 4 people could bare stand at the same time. Research revealed some bands boycotted Live Nation altogether and now I understand why. Unacceptable.

  • Best show I have ever experienced outside of Phish.

The range. The production. The artistry and creativity. Highest tier musicians and music.

  • Brilliant Performance

by Brownetown on 12/2/25Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

TAB is at the top of their game - Beacon Theater and Beacon Jams were an excellent combination. It doesn't get any better than this

  • Best shows of 2025!

by Portia Jean on 12/2/25Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

TAB with the Rescue Squad played a spectacular three shows over Thanksgiving weekend. The music was beautiful, moving and magical. The crowd was so appreciative and respectful. My cup is so full it is overflowing. I Love you, Trey!❤️

  • Rescue Squad Rocks!

by Portiajean! on 12/1/25Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Trey outdid himself with these shows including the Rescue Squad! He rode us hard and put us away wet! Great shows!

  • Beacon Jams

by Nicky Shoes on 12/1/25Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing musicians and Trey was spectacular! I absolutely loved this show.

  • LANDMARK THEATER IS INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE

    by @fugetaboutit607 on 11/29/25Landmark Theatre - SyracuseRating: 1 out of 5

The Landmark Theater is the most uncomfortable venue I have ever experienced. The rows are too close, the seats are too small and cramped, and with that, the staff is far too vigilant with herding everyone out of open spaces and into the cramped, crowded areas. This exacerbates the problem immensely. I will think long and hard about ever attending an event at the Landmark again.

  • Hey heya Trey Trey’s!

by Twist! on 11/26/25Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

I loved that he made it personal to say that he didn’t think that he had played at the Akron civic before. It Felt pretty awesome to feel that and just to say that the crowd was much in their each own groups were welcoming and all happy because of this happening with Trey occurred. So all in all a happy time. And lastly, Trey sold the Covic out!!! Say what! Crazy phish fans unite!! KND made it!!! ♥️🍇☺️

  • TAB levels Akron Civic Theater

by Mike on 11/26/25Akron Civic Theatre - AkronRating: 5 out of 5

Akron Civic Theater was a great place see TAB. The venue is visually impressive and offer excellent sound in a relatively small space. Trey and his surrounding bad were amazing with the horns adding a tasty flavor to the overall experience.
