About

Train are a Grammy Award-winning rock band who have released 11 studio albums, selling over 10 million copies worldwide. Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Train released their self-titled debut in 1998, but they broke through to the mainstream with their 2001 follow-up, Drops of Jupiter, which became their first of six Top 10 albums behind their seven-time platinum single of the same name. To date, Train have logged six Top 20 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 songs on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, including 2003’s “Calling All Angels” and 2009’s “Hey, Soul Sister.” The group has embraced various genres through collaborations with leading country artists like Martina McBride, Ashley Monroe and Tenille Townes, rapper Travie McCoy and pop singers such as Sofía Reyes and Cam. Train have gone on tour nearly every year since 1996, playing in over 25 countries and sharing the bill with the likes of Hall & Oates, Goo Goo Dolls and Jewel. As of 2024, the band is made up of founding frontman Pat Monahan, Taylor Locke (guitar and vocals), Hector Maldonado (bass and vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards and guitar), and Matt Musty (drums).

  • Awesome as usual

by Seaside Timmy on 8/18/25Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena - Atlantic CityRating: 5 out of 5

Train never disappoints. Pat always puts on a great show from the selfies, the beach balls, the music (both Train and other bands) you are constantly on the edge of your seat or standing most of the time. It’s so much more than a show. It’s an experience. Great show!

  • We can check Train off our bucket list!

My best friend, her daughter & I attended from Nova Scotia, Canada. Train was on our bucket list and was the purpose of our girls trip. Train was absolutely amazing & the venue was great! Everyone had good seats! It certainly was the highlight of our trip but that’s a story for another day! Lol

We knew the music would be great, but both Edwin McCain and Train were great at involving the band and crowd in the concert. We will definitely see both again. It wasn't just listening to music, it was a very fun event. Everyone in the crowd was having fun!!!

A perfect night especially after the 93 degree day cooled off. Nice breeze and exuberant crowd wrapped the whole evening of Edwin McCain & Train. Big McCain fan but now a HUGE Train fan. Band was tight and their live show was just so easy and relaxed! Sound was PERFECT! Great choice of food trucks to choose from and parking was close & easy.

I had seen Train in 2018 when they opened for another band. This was the first time I had gone to see them in concert. What an experience! I didn't realize how many great songs I had heard on the radio which were theirs. I can't wait to see them again! What a great and fun night!
