About

Train are a Grammy Award-winning rock band who have released 11 studio albums, selling over 10 million copies worldwide. Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Train released their self-titled debut in 1998, but they broke through to the mainstream with their 2001 follow-up, Drops of Jupiter, which became their first of six Top 10 albums behind their seven-time platinum single of the same name. To date, Train have logged six Top 20 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 songs on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, including 2003’s “Calling All Angels” and 2009’s “Hey, Soul Sister.” The group has embraced various genres through collaborations with leading country artists like Martina McBride, Ashley Monroe and Tenille Townes, rapper Travie McCoy and pop singers such as Sofía Reyes and Cam. Train have gone on tour nearly every year since 1996, playing in over 25 countries and sharing the bill with the likes of Hall & Oates, Goo Goo Dolls and Jewel. As of 2024, the band is made up of founding frontman Pat Monahan, Taylor Locke (guitar and vocals), Hector Maldonado (bass and vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards and guitar), and Matt Musty (drums).

We happened to be in the area and bought the tickets an hour before the show for something to do ... I wasn't even sure who Train was. Anyhow ... Masterful and Energetic show!

  • Don’t miss Train!

by Pealou on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Train was AMAZING! Probably one of the top 3 concerts I’ve seen in my lifetime! (And I’m over 60). My advice: DON’T MISS TRAIN!!

  • Train kept a rollin

by Kenny D on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

We've seen Train 3 times now, and they've delivered an awesome show every time. Relentlessly positive, great audience participation, and fun covers and guest appearances.

  • Good times!! Great show!! Great venue!!

    by Two4oneTacos on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Resting on the Deschutes River, the amphitheater in Bend was a great spot to watch REO Speedwagon & Train! Both bands put on a killer show!! Everyone had a great time!!

  • Amazing performance by Train

by Drops of Jupiter on 9/4/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Train was an amazing performance. They sound fantastic and really engage the crowd. I'll never go to the white river amphitheater again though. it was almost impossible to figure out what you could bring in and when finally arrived we had to buy new clear bags and couldn't bring chairs in to sit in the lawn. Chateau St. Michelle is way better for sitting in the lawn.

  • The best concert we’ve experienced!

by Lorie and Trent on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

The venue, seats, and performances were magical. We were so impressed by the sound and quality of the event. It was our best musical experience ever!

  • Great Show

by Steve M on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Train is a favorite. They always put on a great show. Getting to the venue was pretty easy. Drinks the in eagle club were awesome. The sound for both REO Speedwagon and Train was excellent. Really a great experience.

  • Train never fails to deliver

Beginning to end, one of the best shows this year, and that includes the Stones.

  • Fantastic!!!

by Jbrad on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

  • Didn't even stay for the show

by Concert woman on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased lawn tickets so I could enjoy an evening with my husband. After we entered the venue we were told the lawn was closed and we would be given seats. The line to get our tickets changed to seating was at least 200 people as the concert was starting. Not being a fan of lines or crowded seating we left the venue. There was one person exchanging tickets out for everyone with lawn seats. A huge disappointment

  • So Much Fun!

by Marcia on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Train always puts on a phenomenal concert! They sing all of the favorites and some of the new songs. Always love the light show, beach balls and interaction with the crowd. REO Speedwagon was also fantastic! They still look and sound great.

  • Entertaining and fun

by ANGfire on 9/3/24Oak Mountain Amphitheatre - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert experience. Had a great time with my daughter. One of the most entertaining and fun experience I've had at a concert

  • AWESOME SHOW!!!!

by Carol on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

The venue had plenty of food and drink options along with restrooms in 2 areas that I seen. Staff was helpful in getting you information. Venue was clean felt safe seats were stadium and easy to see stage. I enjoyed the screens on the sides of the stage to help see more details of the artists guitar skills . Was a great show great experience

  • Fun night with REO and Train

by MusicFan on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Attendance was light due to the holiday weekend so getting in & out was easier than usual. Great performers and a fun crowd.

  • Top 3 concert experience

by Logan on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

I sent to this show expecting to enjoy it. But it was so much better than I expected. I've been to dozens of concerts and this was easily in the top 3 I've seen. The entire experience was awesome.

  • How much for that BEER?

by Dude on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 3 out of 5

Dude the alcohol prices are flipping crazy out of control- inflation? Bindenomics? No just flat out greed! But Train never disappoints so the night was insane. Now if a burger and two beers weren’t $75 bucks it would have been a 6 star night. Stop your Greedy ways and come back down to earth.

  • Amazing Show!!!

by carrie ann on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great show with a surprising opening act(REO), but we loved it! I don't think we would ever have seen REO speedwagon otherwise and they really rocked it. It was like the 4th or 5th time we have seen train in 2 states and they never disappoint. This is the second time we have seen his son preform and he is great! Unfortunately, the lawn area we bought was closed due to lack of sales and people were not happy about that especially since we ordered chairs and expected a picnic environment. I think if they worked out the parking/driving situation a little better it would have sold out. If you look up the venue reviews most people will never go back because it takes 1 1/2 -2 hrs to get out of there. We left early to get an uber and sadly missed the last 2 songs.

  • Fantastic Show!

by Team OS on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the stage presence and crowd interaction of all bands. There were few nice surprises and overall great time!

  • Ups and Downs

by Mike on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 5 out of 5

We saw at the amphitheater and the outdoor seating was very hot Until the sun went down. Then the seating and viewing was excellent. The opening band was very good and REO Speed wagon came on and they were disappointing. The song selection and performance were below expectation. Train was excellent, excellent music. Excellent sound excellent presentation. Was absolutely great.

  • Great show - confusing venue

by Goba on 9/3/24White River Amphitheatre - AuburnRating: 4 out of 5

Train, REO, and Yacht Rock all put on great shows. White River Amph went out of their way to make seating confusing - lawn seats no longer allow beach chairs (regardless of what it says on their website), free upgrade to regular seats was nice but getting the tickets for it was disorganized, and they still checked tickets every time you re-entered from bathroom/snacks area (despite it now being the "cheap seats"). And don't even get me started on parking there...
