About

Train are a Grammy Award-winning rock band who have released 11 studio albums, selling over 10 million copies worldwide. Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Train released their self-titled debut in 1998, but they broke through to the mainstream with their 2001 follow-up, Drops of Jupiter, which became their first of six Top 10 albums behind their seven-time platinum single of the same name. To date, Train have logged six Top 20 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 songs on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, including 2003’s “Calling All Angels” and 2009’s “Hey, Soul Sister.” The group has embraced various genres through collaborations with leading country artists like Martina McBride, Ashley Monroe and Tenille Townes, rapper Travie McCoy and pop singers such as Sofía Reyes and Cam. Train have gone on tour nearly every year since 1996, playing in over 25 countries and sharing the bill with the likes of Hall & Oates, Goo Goo Dolls and Jewel. As of 2024, the band is made up of founding frontman Pat Monahan, Taylor Locke (guitar and vocals), Hector Maldonado (bass and vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards and guitar), and Matt Musty (drums).

  • One Hot Show

    by B. S. on 9/7/24Rating: 5 out of 5

The entire night was filled with great music, but Toyota Amphitheater was really hot!! Despite 104 degree heat, Train was magnificent!! Pat draws the audience in to have a fun evening. Love the balloons, confetti and streamers!! Audience sing a longs was great too. Keep it up!! I’ll definitely be back to see them next year. Maybe cooler venue. Please!!

  • Best concert I have been to in last 2 years!

by Dan R on 9/5/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Was pretty disappointed in being shoved over to the far left side of the facility because there was no more room in the handicap section. If it had not been for the video screens to either side of the stage we basically couldn't have seen anything. This poor position was complicated by the fact that numerous people came to stand on the walkway in front of us to watch or record the event. Typically, they stood right in front of all of these poor handicapped people who can't easily move to see better, much less not being able to stand themselves. The only negative comment I have on the concert was the huge gaps between band appearances. Yes a break is great for bathrooms and refreshments but 20 to 30 minutes between bands seems like an excessive intermission. The bands themselves were fantastic, very fun, very interactive with the crowd and their combined version of Hotel California near the end brought down the house!!!

  • Love the Vibe

by Archie on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Great show in Bend.. Love the fact they engaged the crowd, Love the kids voice, hope to see him in the future singing along with his dad!

  • Great concert!

by Sarah on 9/4/24iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre - West Palm BeachRating: 5 out of 5

Wasn’t too familiar with the opening bands but still great atmosphere. Train was great playing all of their popular songs and my favorites. I just wish when they threw things to the crowds it wasn’t just to the middle but to the sides too( where I was sitting).

  • Awesome

  • Train’s always great…

by Nwpeach on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 4 out of 5

…but I was very disappointed in the overall concert because there were 2 opening bands (Yacht Rock and REO Speedwagon) that played for as long as Train did, and Train was the headliner!!! I saw Train at this venue 2 years ago, and they played for 2 hours and were phenomenal!! Best show I have ever seen at this venue!! I was expecting the same this time, but there is a rule at this venue that shows must end by 10pm due to surrounding neighborhoods, and between the first 2 bands and the changing of stage equipment between each one, Train did not take the stage until 8:45 pm, which left them with 1:15 to play, which is how much REO played. (I’m not an REO fan) So, as much as I love Train, I hope if/when they come back to Bend, OR, they have only 1 or no opening bands, and especially no big names like REO that will play forever, biting into Train’s time on stage.

  • So beautiful

by Kat on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the good vibes. So before concert got out the cd that I bought many years ago And played it a few times. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed Train. I’m now going to be looking for more Train music to purchase. And to bring his son up on stage was amazing.

  • What a night

by Lovebend on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Venue, staff and talent were incredible! I loved all three bands. I loved that Train brought out all the other bands and performed with them!

  • Super fun!!

by Dana on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Loved all three acts on the tour! Train puts on an amazing show. The music and engagement with the audience are top notch!!

  • Too crowded and then too loud.

by Joe on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 4 out of 5

I've seen plenty of concerts at the amphitheater (including Train) and really was disappointed. The place was wall to wall people with no room to move. And it seemed like they increased the volume significantly when Train performed. When I can feel the vibration of the music I know it's time to leave. It's a 4 hour drive for me to get there, and a hotel room. I doubt that I will see anymore concerts there.

  • Great concert. VIP Merchandise Package was a rip.

    by DCS3 on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

This was our fifth Train concert so we decided to purchase the VIP Merchandise Package. There was no VIP entrance at this venue and the merchandise was extremely disappointing for the amount of money spent. This will not prevent us from attending a future Train concert but will never again purchase a VIP Merchandise Package.

  • Phenomenal Show!

by WayneRizzy on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Train put on a phenomenal show! Their live show sounded just as good as the original recording which I feel is rare these days. Would definitely pay to see them again in the future!

  • WOW

by Paul on 9/4/24Hayden Homes Amphitheater - BendRating: 5 out of 5

Fantastic show. Originally thought Train was the opening act, boy was I wrong. The guys jammed from start to finish and the love for their craft was very evident.
