Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Train released their self-titled debut in 1998, but they broke through to the mainstream with their 2001 follow-up, Drops of Jupiter, which became their first of six Top 10 albums behind their seven-time platinum single of the same name. I took my son to see this concert, and I can say it is easily in the top 5 concerts I have ever seen. I was completely blown away, and my son was also!
It was an excellent show and the venue was much improved , very smooth processes throughout the concert
Train always puts on an awesome show, but this one could have had 2 or 3 more songs. REO went on a little too long ant Train didn’t take the stage until 9:30. It was a VERY hot night. Bring your own sealed water bottle and get refills there. They charged $12 for a soda cup filled with ice water!!! VIP parking was a breeze and we were out of there with no wait time.
We went to the REO Speedwagon and Train, both were amazing! I love the lawn/ General Admission but parking is the worst part of the whole experience. Thankfully, the weather has cooperated, and we normally ride the motorcycle to the venue. The one time we took the car this season was a pain. It wasn't as bad as some, who had to wait for over an hour just to get out of the parking lot.
The band Train was excellent! The lead singer Pat is excellent and puts on a great show. He has lots of energy!!
Saw Yacht Rock Review, REO, and Train 9/6/24 at the Totota Amphitheater. The show was great! Never heard of Yacht Rock Review and LOVED them! REO put on a fun show. But the highlight of it all was Train!!! All the hits, fun interaction with the crowd, awesome, exciting extras: streamers, t-shirt toss, selfies, confetti finale! Just wow! And might even sound better live. Would go again in a second. Only downside, not their fault, it was soooo damn HOT. 102° at the start of the show, 6:30, and really no relief until almot 10:00. Still, wouldn't have missed it!
Facing the stage, we were second row on the left. For REO, half of the stage view was blocked by equipment. It wasn't much better for Train.
Better than expected!!! Did not disappoint! Great show, high energy!
After seeing Train 4 times in the 2010-2012 timeframe, I was really happy to see how great their show is now. Vocals were extremely tight and they had the crowd solidly into it. Loved the multiple confetti blasts and beach balls — just added to the joyous atmosphere. My one complaint was how much smaller they blocked in the stage for their set, leaving many front row seats blocked out with equipment. Wish I could rate 4 1/2 stars.
They were amazing. Sound like their recorded music; they are that good. Lead singer Pat Monahan has a great stage personality with the audience and works hard.
Show was spectacular. Everyone gave 110% Amazing performances
The concert was far better than we had hoped. We came up from central Oregon for 3 concert events and it was the best one by far. Patrick was in contact with the audience at all times which is how a concert should be done. We will be at any show he puts on in our locations for sure.
A great concert with exceptional vocalists. I stopped following modern music about the time Train was getting started so I didn't know what to expect from a live performance. The shows were both fantastic and i will definitely see Train again.
The balloons! The streamers, the T-shirts, the confetti! The music! The band interaction! So much FUN!
I’ve been to a million concerts and this is by far, the most the band has interacted with the audience! They were so entertaining and the lead singer sounded amazing!!
Train was very entertaining, music was amazing. I loved watching the fingers fly on the guitars. It was a arty atmosphere at the RV Amphitheater, Wednesday night. I will definitely buy tickets the next time they are in the PNW.
REO Speedwagon and Train did not disappoint. Venue is way overpriced for food and drinks. $7 for a can of water. Sound system could of been better.
This is not my favorite venue, but it was a great show. Happy that the lawn people were upgraded, would have loved to have been upgraded myself. We went to the ticket kiosk but was told that we could not.
One of the best concerts that I’ve been to in a long time REO Speedwagon was phenomenal and Train was the best. loved the whole concert
I gotta say this concert, with all three bands, was one of the very best concerts ever. I'd definitely go again.
