We first saw Train many years ago and they still put on an excellent show. This was our first time to Ironstone Vineyards and we were really impressed with this venue. We'll be back.
Wish Edwin McCain could have played longer but enjoyed him coming back out at the end of the concert very much. Also wish things were a little more reasonably priced such as food, drink and merch.

We saw Train at Ironstone Amphitheater in Murphys California. Amazing Show at a gorgeous venue.
Train delivered a performance that was nothing short of spectacular. From the first note, the crowd was hooked, and the band’s effortless blend of tight instrumentals and soaring harmonies filled the ampitheater with pure energy. The new renditions of old songs sat perfectly beside fan favorites, each track crafted with precision and heart. The lighting and acoustics complemented Train’s sound beautifully, turning the winery’s stone-and-vineyard ambience into a lush, immersive listening experience. A standout moment came with an extended jam of Hotel California that built to an irresistible crescendo, leaving the audience cheering for more. If you ever get the chance to see Train live, especially in a setting as intimate and atmospheric as Ironstone, don’t miss it—this was a show that lingers in the memory long after the last note fades. Bravo.
What a great show Train put on at Ironstone Winery in Murphy’s, CA!! They sounded great, the mix was great, song choices great. Loved it! Such a fun night.
The concert itself was outstanding!! I was totally thrilled... BUT, i have to say the venue is very much out of the way. Very hard to park. VERY dark, 1 lane road leaving... SCARY!!! AND why aren't the bathrooms distributed around the venue?! ALL in 1 place, ridiculous....
Excellent! This is my second Train concert and they gave an amazing performance! Their energy is unmatched, enjoyed every moment! The Ironstone venue is beautiful!
Everything you want in a concert, great songs, amazing musicians, Pat Monahan is a talented singer and performer. Fun mix of songs, plays the top hits, and threw in some classic covers. Edwin McCain was an awesome opener too, very talented and fun. And finally, NO POLITICS!!! Thank-you Train and Edwin McCain for a giving me more than what I paid for!
Great venue. Great show. Train is still a fantastic live band!!
Train was so much fun! Awesome energy combined with craftsmanship of professional talent. Ironstone Amphitheater provided an excellent stage for the band, though the length of the forward rows created a situation of continual interuption of people going back and forth. Shorther rows with access from more ends would be a great improvement. Spending that much $ and having constant people passing in front of you is highly annoying. The sound was excellent.
Had an amazing experience at Ironstone with Train. Super fun, Energetic and Amazing Talent from all. The opener Edwin McCain was awesome as well. You don't often see an opener get a standing ovation but he sure did!! Bravo 👏 👏 👏
Wow what a fantastic concert. It's been a while since I've been to a concert where they played nonstop for 2 plus hours. So cool that they played a few songs from other bands. From Queen to the Eagles. Only mistake we made was we left after Hotel California Because it's very hard to get out of Ironstone when the bulk leave at once. So we missed I heard a few more songs. Perfect night, best concert in years the place was packed so yes the bands I grew up with can still pack them in and play a fantastic show.
The Edwin McCain band and Train were fantastic performers — great crowd interaction, stellar vocals, and phenomenal music. Note for the location — include the bag policies, cash only options, etc in the Ticketmaster updates because none of that was included and folks didn’t know until they got there. Thanks!
The Train concert was well-organized, including a special moment to honor & pay tribute to the firefighters who saved the amphitheater. Ironstone Vineyards is the best venue ever, esp the general admission grass seating. It is way better than the white chairs!
Train always puts on a great show. The only problem we had was to many people standing on the walkways and blocking the view. Sound was great
Enjoy concert. Beautiful venue on a cool evening. Edwin McCain and his band a great opening performer. Train came on after a short intermission where upbeat music played to get crowd moving. Train performed well. Kept crowd on there feet and moving. Much original music, as well as many covered songs.
Train are professional solid performers that always put on a great show. Ironstone Amphitheater is an awesome place to see live music, except entering and (yet worse) leaving is a nightmare.
Great show. Pat is just awesome, so much energy!! Great voice!
