About

Train are a Grammy Award-winning rock band who have released 11 studio albums, selling over 10 million copies worldwide. Formed in San Francisco in 1993, Train released their self-titled debut in 1998, but they broke through to the mainstream with their 2001 follow-up, Drops of Jupiter, which became their first of six Top 10 albums behind their seven-time platinum single of the same name. To date, Train have logged six Top 20 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and four No. 1 songs on the Adult Pop Airplay chart, including 2003’s “Calling All Angels” and 2009’s “Hey, Soul Sister.” The group has embraced various genres through collaborations with leading country artists like Martina McBride, Ashley Monroe and Tenille Townes, rapper Travie McCoy and pop singers such as Sofía Reyes and Cam. Train have gone on tour nearly every year since 1996, playing in over 25 countries and sharing the bill with the likes of Hall & Oates, Goo Goo Dolls and Jewel. As of 2024, the band is made up of founding frontman Pat Monahan, Taylor Locke (guitar and vocals), Hector Maldonado (bass and vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards and guitar), and Matt Musty (drums).

    Train is Good Every Time

by Cho on 12/12/23The Factory - St. Louis

This was my 5th time seeing Train, and my first acoustic concert. They, as always, did not disappoint. I had general admission and was still able to see and hear well. When the lead singer sang without his mic the whole room got quiet. It was really beautiful.

    Train knows how to entertain

by MJ on 12/12/23The Factory - St. Louis

The Train acoustic concert was great! They really know how to entertain. It sounded full and complete even though it’s acoustic. Pat Monahan’s voice has not changed since I last saw them perform live in 2015. Awesome performance and enjoyable as ever! Watching them made me so happy. They never disappoint! Looking forward to their summer show

    Y98 deck the halls Ball

by Brian A on 12/12/23The Factory - St. Louis

This year it was JP Saxe, Phillip Phillips and Train in an all acoustic set. What a fantastic show. Perfect seating in a perfect venue made this one of the most enjoyable concerts of the year. The cello player with Phillip Phillips was insanely good. It was pure pleasure to watch him perform. I would highly recommend this show to anyone of almost any age group.

    Train is always a delight

by Juliet on 12/12/23The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

Train knows how to make people feel happy they came to his concert. This is probably my 6th or 7th time I have seen Train. I always walk out of his concerts in a great mood. Benson Boone was a wonderful performer as well.. you can feel his soul in his songs.

The opening artists were amazing. Very entertaining to hear some acapella and cello! Train was of course outstanding. Been watching them for years now. This was an awesome venue. Got great seats for great prices and the view was amazing. The intimate venue also helped. I love acoustic. Great job!

by Van on 12/12/23The Factory - St. Louis

We were at The Factory for Train, Phillip Phillips and JO Saxe. The music was great and there doesn’t seem to be a bad seat in the house. We had a great night and can’t wait to see more shows there.

    Excellent acoustic performance by Train

by CJY on 12/9/23The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

Amazing concert, spectacular venue The Fillmore, Detroit, MI with great acoustics. So impressed by the music the three Train bandmates were able to produce with limited equipment. It was so nice not to be overwhelmed by the boom, boom, boom of obnoxious speakers at other venues. My hearing was intact after the performance ended. Love, love, love Train and they did not disappoint! Played all their best songs and a few Christmas ones were added as well. Go see their Acoustic Christmas concert if they come to your town.

    Train

by Jaws on 12/9/23The Fillmore Detroit - Detroit

What a fun night. It was an acoustical performance and Train didn't miss. There songs and voices were authentic. The audience had fun as Train "interacted"with them. Very down to earth people, you feel like you know them. Great job Train!!
