About

They say fashion is cyclical... and they’re right. Truly amazing things never go out of style, regardless of when they first popped up. Toto’s tune ‘Africa’ is one of these things. First heard in 1982, this masterpiece of popular prog has been a staple of pop culture since release. Taken from their massive second album Toto IV, it combined their other calling card Rosanna to introduce Toto to a massive audience. That record would go on to win several Grammy Awards and establish a base from which the band grew into one of the most prolific and durable acts in modern music history. Musically mind blowing and with more hits that you can poke a stick at, there’s no doubt that people will ask “where were you when Toto played Festival Hall?” for years to come.

Great show 6th time I've seen ToTo 1st time with JOE WILLIAMS AND MAN HE BROUGHT IT great VOICE. Luke, Simom Paich. The entire band was killer and lots of fun to see and watch. If you ever get the chance, do not miss these guy's they are the best. Only wish the did more shows in the states it's a shame they only get the respect they deserve by going overseas it's a crying shame.

    Great band, great show!

Lights, sound, band ...spot on. Everything was great except for the only two people standing through most of the show were just in front of us. Hey folks, leave your iphones at home. No one wants to watch a live band with your iphone in their face.

There are many people who have no idea about how phenomenal Toto is as a group of virtuosos and a solid rock group that has has been together 35 years. Each member that has been there all along or joins here and there is simply an amazing artist. 'Nuff said. Oh, and I LOVE them! Music at its best.

I have followed the storied career of Toto since they first opened for Peter Frampton in Hawaii just after the release of their debut album, "Toto." Like fine wine, they have only gotten better with time. It was great to see Joseph Williams and Steve Porcaro back with David Paich and Steve Lukather. Simon Phillips and Nathan East never missed a beat and have been great additions to the band. For those folks who know Toto for ONLY their mega hits like "Rosanna" and "Africa" I always tell them the group is a much better band LIVE and that they can rock the house down, which they did at GVR! The chemistry of the group is unbelievable, and their musicianship is second to none. My ONLY complaint is that the show was too short, because casinos don't want customers away from the slot machines for too long. Another memorable night of great music from Toto...

Toto was awesome live! They played for about an hour and 40 minutes and played lots of oldies and hits. A bunch of incredible musicians that put on a great show. Everybody should go see them.

    Unbeleivable show!

by TimX on 9/22/12Chumash Casnio - Santa Ynez

So happy they are back in the USA. They played their hits and much much more. The entire band were on fire! A mixed crowed was excellent. Thrilled they played " Manuela Run " but wished they also played "Lea." Overall a great night of music by a great band. Welcome home!
