Tori Amos has been a pioneer in the singer/songwriter genre for nearly three decades, gracing audiences with her majestic voice and piano-driven music during countless concerts worldwide. "Cornflake Girl," "Caught a Lite Sneeze," and "A Sorta Fairytale" are just some of Amos' hits you might hear at her concerts, but she always gives fans a truly unique experience with her ever-changing set list for each show. Amos' will be debuting new songs from her 2014 album, Unrepentant Geraldines, described in a press release as a "return to her core identity as a creator of contemporary songs of exquisite beauty," holding true to her pop and alt rock roots. Rolling Stone readers voted her the fifth best touring act for her passionate live performances, and she'll continue to delight fans on her 2014 show dates. 

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Tori Amos began her musical career as the lead singer for the synthpop band Y Kant Tori Read, but after the band failed to reach commercial success she launched her career as a solo artist in 1990. Since then she has released 14 studio albums and has sold over 12 million records worldwide, a major feat for the eight-time Grammy Award-nominated singer. A North Carolina Music Hall of Fame inductee, Amos is recognized for her virtuosic piano playing and her ability to interact with fans during her impressive performances. Not only is she a dynamic performer, but an overall creative genius, pursuing other ventures including a classical music project, an award-nominated musical titled The Light Princess, and a co-authored autobiography, Piece By Piece. With years of experience entertaining fans around the world, there's no doubt that Tori Amos will leave you awe-inspired during her 2014 Unrepentant Geraldines tour.

    This was my first concert set at the Greek Theatre, and now that I've been there I feel like no other venue will ever compare! From the moment you walk onto the grounds it's 'a sorta fairytale'. And to see Tori Amos on stage, nestled between trees and skies and stars; well, it was quite a treat. On another note, parking accommodates the natural habitat and NOT the other way around!

    She come out bold and with alot of showmanship. She stood inbetween three sets of keyboards and had all the moves and never missed a high note. Great show.

    Looooved the show, the theater, and Tori Amos' voice. She sounded great and gave a good performance. The fans were excited but weren't crazy or annoying, they were almost mellow. I would definitely go see her again.

    Tori is an amazing artist which shines through when she plays live. I didn't think I could love Tori any more than I already did, but after leaving the concert I realized that I could. Humphrey's is a cool venue, with the water near, tropical scheme and under the stars. The only thing that sucks is I think they pack way too many folding chairs into the venue which makes it really uncomfortable to sit there for a long time.

    The Venue was small, on the water and outdoors. It was the perfect place to see her and she was breathtaking! I will always recommend seeing her if you are a fan, she's even better in concert.

    What a truly amazing show. The sound mix was perfection. Tori's vocals soared and it was pumped up enough so that it wasn't drowned out by the beat of the music. Great job, Sound-Tech guy! Five Stars! She is clearly at the top of her game and at a venue like Humphrey's by the Bay, who there didn't have the best time? No one, that's who! Duh! I could listen to her sing like that for 12 hours a day. Very stereophonic and lilty and intense and throaty. She played a lot of "off the beaten path" songs.

    this show was amazing which is what was to be expected with a tori a show. The venue was awesome... right by the bay and under the stars and really small and intimate. I give this show infinity starts... but then again I am biased cause I love tori... she's the bee's knees!!!!!!!!!!!

    Excellent show at a really beautiful and fun venue. Tori's talent is undeniable and her songs sound even better live than on her recordings. Great energy and musicianship all around. I highly recommend catching Tori Amos live if you never have, or again if you have before. The show was captivating and exciting. Loved the venue - palm trees, starry sky and right on the water.

    Tori's performance was amazing! Powerful and intimate. The setlist was amazing, and it looked like she really enjoyed playing the song she did and she mentioned how beautiful the venue was. The only "bad thing" about the show is the fact that people don't know how to drink responsibly and get really loud and annoying.

    Tori's show is breathtaking - the intensity, the flow, the music, the band, the lighting, the energy, the amount of love the entrie audience has for her and that she has for us. It is truly an exhilirating and uplifting experience, going from meditative trance all the way to ecstatic bliss. She is one of the finest vessels of music, and WOW she played for a solid 2 hours or more and every second was magic. We left feeling very very inspired. Thank you Tori and everyone who works so hard to make the show happen and keep it happening!

    Tori played a great assortment of songs from all her albums and sounded as amazing as she always is. The band was wonderful too! The venue was the only negative aspect of the show: seating was uncomfortable, visibility was poor, acoustics were marginal, and the atmosphere was lacking.

    Humphreys is a great place to see anything because you never really have nosebleed seats. She was ausome as usual & played alot of her new songs which were really amazing. It's so worth seeing her live!!

    This is quite possibly the most beautiful venue I've even visited. The water is beautiful, and when it gets dark the lights shining across the bay are breath taking! Tori's setlist was full of crowd favorites, both new and old. At one point she played a tribure to her brother which captivated everyone. I flew in from Minnesota to attend this show (in San Diego) and it was worth every penny! If you ever have the chanve to see Tori Amos live go for it. If you ever have a chance to visit this venue, jump at it. And if you have the chance to see Tori Amos at this venue, don't think twice, buy the tickets! You'll have the time of your life!
