Loved everything about the show but really wish she would have included Crucify!!!!!!!!!
FABULOUS! When isn't she? You always know what you're getting when she takes the stage, her performances are spot-on, every time.
Tori is magnificence! Her ability to shift sound to shift the audiences' marvel reminds us of how powerful music is. Her eclecticism is unmatchable by other composers. Watching Tori Amos perform is a journey to another realm where evil becomes light, where beauty is embraced and humanity is explored. She uses humor to again shift our consciousness, before plummeting into yet another place of song and magic.
Tori Amos continues to amaze with her rocked out piano music combined with her electrifying vocals. We saw her for the first time sober and it was the best yet!
She sang classic Tori favorites like cornflake girl and china, yet she rocked new ones like strong black vine! It was an unforgettable concert! It made my year!
I've been a fan of Tori for a long time and this was my first time seeing her live. She has an amazing voice on CD and it's better when you hear her in person.
Tori was everything I expected and more....I have loved Tori for years but she is one of those artists that is so good but even better in person :)
I've been listening to Tori for 16 years and have never had the opportunity to see her live until last night. I recently moved from Florida to the OC and visited the Greek theater for the first time to see Tori. It was a beautiful venue on a serene evening with Tori putting on an amazing show! Her presence, interaction with the audience and sheer raw talent lit up the stage, her energy was bouncing off the trees and stars and opening my heart and soul to a new dimension. She is incredible!
Tori's back...better than ever. She's a one of a kind performer. Her voice is in top shape for a woman in her 40's...and her playing..my god when she plays...4 different keyboards, switching back and forth, spreading between 2...i can stare at this gracious performer all night :) Oh and the lighting effects are amazing too..compliments her beautiful custume
She is the ONLY artist I would never miss when she tours! I rarely witnessed such a soul through anybody else's music, this moment was pure inspiration! There is something magic everytime she performs. There is an undeniable connection between the artist, the singer, the melody and the instrument. It goes beyond words. It needs to be experienced. The best performer I've ever seen! From far! Thank U!
As if she played for her old friends. Original stylings, a whole lot of Under the Pink. A perfect night.
Powerful, goth, dreamy, sexy crazy cool, glam Rock, diva, alien, climaxed in a crushendo of energy that had us all out of our seats. Thank You Tory.
The venue was amazing! I don't think there is a bad seat in the entire place. Tori, as usual....was just Amazing! Not only would I recommend Tori and Ticketmaster...but also Dine and Ride.... The entire experience combined made for the best night!
Tori commands the stage and leaves you feeling like you have come into contact with some beatuiful element not quite of this world, but one with complete human empathy.
This was my fourth Tori Amos in concert. Each time is as touching as the first. With all the love and respect that the fans lavish onto her, is tenfold what Tori gives back in her performances. During the Los Angeles show on July 17, 2009 at the Greek Theatre, she connected with the audience by telling the tale of "Mary Jane", one of her songs from the new "Abnormally Attracted to Sin" album. Other songs performed from the new album included "Police Me" and "Strong Black Vine" as well as featuring songs from her last album "American Doll Posse" including "Big Wheel." She honored her long time fans by recalling songs from "Little Earthquakes" such as "China", "Precious Things", and "Tear in Your Hand" and a variety of songs "From the Choirgirl Hotel" such as "Liquid Diamonds" and "Jackie's Strength". Many other songs were performed as well but these were by far the highlights. The performance time was a solid two hours, but it felt like only 15 minutes!
Always amazing to see what Tori has in store for her tour. Very energetic croud also. The Greek Theatre is just an awesome venue, very intimate. Again, thank you Tori for an amazing show.
tori was great as always! looked great, sounded great, made me cry. she never disappoints.
It was a perfect Los Angeles night, warm and sultry, just like Tori. As expected, Tori's voice was amazing, the cadence of her songs are always so unique and always engaging. But, it is still her piano playing and stage presence that wows me. She is a truly talented performer and seems so engaging and appreciable. Her nearly two hour set was a mix of favorites and seldom heard songs. She even lapsed into a melodic hand-clapper as part of her encore set. It was so fun and completely unexpected from her.
Tori put an awesome show last night at the Greek Theater!!! She was sensual and active on stage as always. Its a must see!!
