Tori Amos began her musical career as the lead singer for the synthpop band Y Kant Tori Read, but after the band failed to reach commercial success she launched her career as a solo artist in 1990. Since then she has released 14 studio albums and has sold over 12 million records worldwide, a major feat for the eight-time Grammy Award-nominated singer. A North Carolina Music Hall of Fame inductee, Amos is recognized for her virtuosic piano playing and her ability to interact with fans during her impressive performances. I have been a long time fan of Tori's work and this was my 3rd time seeing her perform. Last night was nothing less than amazing as all of her shows I have seen are. Had a great time at Chastain and the crowd was very friendly and fun-loving which only enhanced the experience!!
Tori is always awesome! IF you can ever catch one of her shows DO IT!!!
Tori was amazing as usual. I am so glad that I was able to attend. She keeps getting better and better.
I have been listening to Tori for a very long time & finally had the pleasure of experiencing her live in concert. It was incredible!! As a trumpet player who taught & wrote for a local band I must say she has always been an inspiration. I also had the pleasure to speak with her husband, Mark Hawley, twice & found him to be kind to me. What a wonderful experience.
I've seen many concerts by Tori, but this one had to be simply, "The Best". She could not have chosen a better set if she had polled the audience. From "oldies" to the new album she covered it all. Everything had flavor including Amsterdam, which is a slower song with attitude on Boys for Pelé, but she gave it all the attention the song deserved and then some. Deep, rich and engaging! Oh, and Icicle- I don't think I breathed during the entire song— AMAZING. She captured the true Tori fans' attention and we were captivated and riveted to our seats. There was one or two guests of Tori fans that broke out into a little tuff- Tori stopped her song right in the middle and engaged the disrupters with a song- "Everyone become calm now, relax... I respect you, if you don't want to be here- leave" We all loved her impromptu song! What a show! I highly recommend seeing her in concert. Nothing is like the real thing!
I am never disappointed when I attend a Tori show. She has such an amazing catalog of music that spans her career. I never miss a show of hers when she comes to my city, no matter how many times she visits. You rock Tori! You are very much appreciated and a shining star that never dulls.

Beautiful lighting, beautiful music, beautiful Tori. Wonderful song selection, spanned the entire catalogue. Only wished she'd played something from Choirgirl.
Her concert and her imagination sounded exhausted, sorry to say.
Despite a less than great turnout, Tori delivered an unbelievable show. She did a great job of playing old and new songs that spanned throughout her career. I think my favorite part of the show was when she called out a fight near the front of the audience then improvised an entire song a capella as a result!
Tori Amos put on a fantastic show last night! She is absolutely unbelieveable and I would give anything to see her again in the future. My only complaint was in relation to the venue. The seats were very uncomfortable but it was not a crowded show so I was able to get up and move around. Other than that, it was truly an amazing night and I will never forget it as long as I live!
Excellent. She does a wonderful job of playing new and old. Great energy and just simply the most talented artist. Love Tori!
this was my seventh or eighth time to see tori, always excellent.
From start to finish, Tori Amos' concert at the Nokia Theater was incredible. Though my seats weren't fantastic, I still had a really decent view from section 203. The sound in the venue was also really good. Definitely one of my favorite performances.
Tori never plays the same set list twice, so whichever show you go to will be a unique experience. She seemed very happy, lots of smiles.
Tori Amos always puts on an amazing live performance. Her live voice is just as good as a studio recording... all while she plays 4 different instruments throughout the night. She's a must-see artist!
The stage set up was gorgeous, the band was great and Tori was absolutely breathtaking. She has truly evolved from faerie to goddess.
I took my wife to see this concert not really understanding who Tori Amos was, but after seeing how beautiful she was and performed i was in shock and aww! One of the best experiences of my life. If you really appreciate great talent, this is one i wouldn't miss out on~!!!
I would have to say that Tori Amos and the Nokia Theater in Grand Prairie go hand in hand. The piano and her voice sounded great in the theater. Her performance was great and I recommend going to see her. If she comes back I will have tickets again. The opening Act was Jeremy Lister. After the concert I went directly to iTunes and ordered all of his albums.
