A girl and her piano for over 2 1/2 hrs. What an amazing performer. Her recorded albums do not do her justice.
That was the most beautiful, uplifting, yet emotionally draining concert I've ever been to. The first one that has moved me to tears. I never really liked "Pandora's Aquarium" that much, but listening to it live was another story entirely (that's when my eyes first filled with tears). And Liquid Diamonds (my favorite song by her) was amazing. She is the most extraordinary performer. Very animated, and so.... happy to be there. I don't think I've ever seen a performer so happy before. Always smiling, sometimes giggling at the audience. Yet still able to convey every other emotion and make you believe it. Awesome. I'll be downloading her latest album now, and all the ones I've missed before it since the last time I bought one. I am sorry I haven't been keeping up with her career, but now I've seen the light.
Tori put on an amazing show as usual. I was surprised to hear so many of her older songs, not too many of the new ones. She was smiling and energetic, looked like she was having a lot of fun up there!
I was probably one of few in the audience who did not even know who she was, or what her music was like. I went with my daughter because her friend dropped out at the last minute. I am a music lover, so I was still excited to go, and whenever I can spend quality time with my daughter...I grab the opportunity. I LOVED TORI. What a performer. She was amazing beyond words. She is one of the most talented and unique artists I have ever seen. I am a fan for life.
I always enjoy Tori's shows. I've seen her 7 times. This show was good, although not her best. The sound and lights were off and she didn't do enough of the old favorites. All told it was still an awesome show though. The opener was One Eskimo and they were interesting and very catchy! We liked them overall.
What a great voice range. Show was great, two hours straight. Great talent.
Interesting costume but she looked a bit pregnant in it. Great piano playing from both sides. Wonderful voice but I could barely understand the lyrics she was singing. Still, a great concert. She definitely has some issues to resolve with her religious upbringing as reflected in her songs!
Tori Amos rocked the Bob Carr in Orlando last night. This had to be one of the best performances of her I've seen over the last 15 years of her many concerts. She is at her best voice and has learned to mix in her backup musicians without destroying her ability to be heard with her fabulous piano and angel voice. She mixed a combination of old and new with the old changed enough to sound new all over again! Her appearance is looking better than ever as she worked her magic body language to the audience.
She started off with Give, then Siren. Two of my favorites, later followed with Icicle - love that one live!!! First time I've heard Tombigbee live. Curtain Call and Police Me from the new album where tight! At one point she stopped during a song and said, "Wait a minute what the f$#@ is going on", adjusting her earpiece, then she just picks up where she left off. Sounded great even while outside at an amphitheater. No one can rock shiny gold leggings and a purple dress with coat-tails like TORI!!
I've seen Tori four times and she always puts on a great show. This one was a lot of fun and the seats were fantastic. She is quirky and very entertaining to watch. Played a number of songs from her other albums as well, which was great!
She was amazing! She was entertaining! She had it going on!
We enjoyed the show.....but it didnt seem long enough and ended rather abruptly. We also waited 1 hour outside the stage exit to see her....and she came out of the door, waved and blew a kiss to everyone....wished that she came over for a second.... even just to say HI! Would have made the event SO much better!
Tori was fantastic, as always. Her band was amazing. She puts on a wonderful show and continues to produce innovative music.
I have been to about a half dozen Tori shows, to say this was her best is difficult. All of her shows are great! She truly owns the stage & delivers without fail her weird & wonderful songs with her tongue planted firmly in cheek. The power that emanates from Tori while she weaves her spells is like being a part of the sacred circle that Jon Evans(bass, guitar) & Matt Chamberlin(drums) have helped her to create. The atmosphere at one of her shows indescribable really, though I have tried here! I suggest to anyone who is a fan of music in general to go and see her you will not be disappointed, you will only want more!
Tori Amos is an unbelievable performer her music is so emotional and touching. She plays two pianos at once without looking at either one. Her voice is amazing and she is very unique.
nokia is one my favorite venue in dallas - the sound is great. tori still sounds so amazing - her voice is crystal clear and she is certainly an entertainer. she had a last minute opening act and he was actually quite good but i can't recall his name at this time.
Although a very different set list, still very compelling. Tori and her mates always supply a very professionally driven show. She looked amazing and sounded even better. Tori know how to protect her audience and make them feel like she appreciates every penny spent.
Fantastic show. Great balance of old and new songs! Loved it....just please don't take the kids to the show...may be inappropriate for children under the age of 13. Just FYI! :)
It was awsome i haveseen tori once b4 and it was great i would love to see her very tour it was so good my mom went with me and she loves tori also it was so much fun!!!
Absolutely loved the show! Tori was amazing and everything was very relaxed and stripped down from the last time I saw her at Fox. My only complaint is that at this venue people like to talk as loud as they can and inturrupt the enjoyment of the music. Other than that it was an awesome time.
