  • Tori is a great performer!

by Bytor1970 on 7/29/09Chastain Park Amphitheatre Peter Conlon Presents - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

I've seen Tori Amos on numerous occasions, but not since the mid-1990s. SHe is an incredible showperson who really gets into her performance. Her musical skills are also top notch live. She played a number of new songs and some deeper cuts from more recent albums. I was hoping to hear more from her early catalog (one song each from her first two albums), but that didn't diminish the enjoyment of the show.

  • Amazing Show!!

by wdwdude on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This is only the second time I've been able to catch her show, although I am a huge fan. What an amazing night! The only down side, is that she has so many songs in her library now, it's hard to hit on several favorites in the same show. I've learned she changes her set list in every city, it's hard to know what you're going to get exactly, but whatever she does is fantastic. Wonderful performance!

I've seen Tori live 10 times now, and this performance was the best on the list. After all this time, she's still as passionate and inspiring as ever and a joy to see live. Thank you for a fantastic performance, Tori. Your music speaks to me and helps me to cope.

  • Tori Show 7/28/09

by nauticalnun on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Tori performed well! it was wonderful to see her full of smiles!!! she seemed very happy to be back 'home' in Florida. could have done without hearing Cornflake girl and Precious Things, however she was outstanding!! Definitely worth seeing time and time again. Was surprised she didn't play more songs from the new album.

  • Perfection!

by tatime on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Tori was amazing last night. She was full of energy, her voice was perfect as well as her piano/synth/organ playing. The sound from where I was sitting was great! The audience was very well behaved and respectful.

  • Tori is always awesome!

by Rainbowspice on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act was rather dull so I decided to wait in the ungodly long merchandise line. One booth with one guy working one line? I mean come on! Tori had a great set list, there was at least 2-3 songs from each album and a couple b-sides. Only one encore. I felt shortchanged a little bit there. But overall, she is awesome and always provides great entertainment. That's why I've been to over 10 shows in the last 11 years and as long as she'll be touring, you can expect I will always be at the shows.

  • Tori Amos always wonderful!

by andtml on 7/29/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand PrairieRating: 5 out of 5

Tori Amos, as usual, was fantastic! I've seen her numerous times and she never disappoints. My husband and I are from New Orleans and we drove to the Grand Prairie, TX show, over 8 hours away just to see her. I'm not sure why she hasn't been making it to New Orleans the last few tours, but we never mind driving to see her. Although, if she came to New Orleans, we'd most likely see her twice.

  • Tori ROCKED, as usual!!

by Constantquery on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was FANTASTIC!! She really connected with the audience and seemed to be having a good time herself. Her setlist was varied and interesting, although she didn't play many tracks off of the the new album this show. A tiny bit dissappointed in that.

  • Tori Amos

by Lizysant on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was one of the most unforgettable performances I have ever seen. She played for two hours straight and then came back for three more sets at the encore. I loved that she mixed her older songs (my favorites) with her new releases. Amazing! My friend who went with me is not as familiar with her work, she loved the combination of the music and the ambiance.

  • Tori Amos is AMAZING!

by Pollyprissypants on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Oh my goodness! This woman is so dyamic and theatrical, with very few props. She engages her audience and bows to them. You felt like you actually got to "know" her. The venue was small enough that it was intimate- there was not a "bad seat in the house." Tori performs a different set each night from what I can gather, and just her manner of performance makes everything unforgettable. She used 4 different pianos, often playing two at once. You often hear that some "artists" aren't happy, but she is someone who you can tell genuinely enjoys what she does, her fans, and takes special attention to make each performance unforgettable and special.

  • AMAZING!

by LovelessSound on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

One of her best. Only one encore though. I wish she had played more popular songs many others would've known. Although, we heard MANY songs that she NEVER plays which is always a great thing!

  • Tori Amos was amazing, as usual!

by WasabiGirl on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to four Tori Amos concerts over the past ten years, and this was the most pleasant experience I have had at one. The venue was perfect for her music. The stage was gorgeous. And of course, her performance was amazing!

  • Tori was amazing, great song picks!

by Kwani on 7/29/09Chastain Park Amphitheatre Peter Conlon Presents - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Tori played some of her best girls and good new ones! The first band. One eskimo, complemented her music wonderfully. No rain at Chastain, which is always better dry!

  • First Tori Experience...

by LilyChance on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

It was amazing! I didn't know what to expect since this was my first Tori concert, but it blew me away. I loved that she play a lot of songs from her previous albums since that's what I really wanted to hear. The music, her voice, the lights, and the venue were perfect!

  • Hope she tours again soon ...

by stuffbusted on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Tori Amos has been one of my favorite singers for a quite a while now. Her music is so deep and her concerts are so intimate. Highly recommended.

  • Welcome to Florida

by Homespun on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was by far probably one of my favorite experiences at a Tori concert. She was absolutely wonderful and the audience was so respectful and responsive. Her voice was on fire and the set list was great.

  • Tori Amos was Amazing!

by Pas77 on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was my first time seeing Tori live after being a fan for several years, and I must say that she is a force of nature on the stage. Tori seems to effortlessly tap into the characters in her songs and expresses their sorrow, joy, and observations of life with such a dynamic range. Absolutely exquisite experience.

  • A night with Tori is always unforgettable!!

by PhantomDelight25 on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

The show opened with One Eskimo. Although the drummer had what appeared to be a little kid's drum set, the musical sound of the group was beautiful and touching. However, we were all there for Tori. With an amazing vocal range, Tori sang for over an hour--mesmerizing us. Bob Carr was transformed from a performing arts venue into a cathedral of music and sound and positive energy. A night with Tori is equal parts uplifting and seductive. It is emotive at times, cathartic at times, and like having a glass of red wine with your dearest friend at times. Jon Evans was amazing on bass. Matt Chamberlain was incredible on percussion. Last night, when Tori's Ears With Feet got together and Tori led us, the place is full of love and energy and power....with great parts of sensuality thrown in for good measure.

  • Amazing as Always

by DonnyB on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Tori at all stages of her career and as always, she never disappoints. I told my partner that even if you have never seen or heard of her, you HAVE to be impressed by what you see when it is just her and the piano.

  • Tori Rocks

by Mick79 on 7/29/09Chastain Park Amphitheatre Peter Conlon Presents - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen many bands over the expanse of my years, including other Tori Shows, and she by far is the only performer on this earth that I can say has never and will never dissapoint!! Her shows are always fresh and exciting! I hope there are many more to come from her!!
