  • Must see

Tori commanded the stage with a presence unlike any other female performer I've seen. Her subtle sexual playfulness paired with her distinct voice, and awesome mastery of multiple keyboards was breathtaking, The lights were a feat to be seen as well.

  • Another Great Show

From the start to the finish it was amazing. She never fails to put on a great show.

  • Disappointing

As a Tori fan of over 20 years who has seen her in concert twice before, I found this one very disappointing. She played virtually none of her classics, and if you haven't heard the last three albums be prepared to be very lost. In addition, she played for only 1.5 hours - I've never had a headliner play such a short concert. That's fine if you're paying $25 for tickets - when you get to $50 a pop it's ridiculous.

  • Tori is awesome!

by lenina on 7/31/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

My brother and I loved the concert but were very upset with people coming and going all the time. It's in a theater but people can actually get up and walk around during the concert. It gets pretty annoying having to let people walk in front of you all the time! Other than that, her performance is just so breathtaking and fun that I will definitely go again and again and again!!

  • Tori Amos rocks my world!

by Berryswirl on 7/31/09Humphreys Concerts By the Bay - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Tori is the fiercest performer ever! I've seen her many, many times and she never has let me down! I'm always excited to see her and once her show it over I'm a bit sad that it has to end!! This show was amazing and the venue was beautiful, very intimate.

  • Tori Amos was uniquely amazing

by PB4G on 7/31/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

The last time I saw Tori was 15 years prior in a small venue in Denver. Tori and her band were incredible, but I miss the intimacy of the smaller venue and just Tori and her piano. While different from the first time, this show still goes down as one of the great concerts I've seen, slightly behind the first time I saw Tori.

Watching Tori is a life altering experience. She has the power to touch your soul with her music. In fact for me the joy I feel during a Tori concert can not be compared to anything else in this life. Even if you only come to watch her play the piano, you will be blown away.

Loved the production. Lighting was amazing. Sound was decent, but her vocals got a little lost as did the bass, drums and piano were definitely taking the stage. Comparing this to her concert in 1998 (different venue), I thought this was superior.

  • Beautiful and inspiring

by nandeboleine on 7/30/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Longtime fan, first time concert-goer. My seat in the balcony right second row gave a perfect view of the entire show. Tori was amazing; she and her voice are gorgeous. Many of the people to whom I spoke at the concert were musicians like myself, and we appreciated the talent that is evident behind the showmanship. Even those who were not previously avid fans seemed impressed.

  • Awesome Except For ONE thing...

by MrEsoteric8 on 7/30/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand PrairieRating: 4 out of 5

The show and the lighting was amazing. Her voice was dead on! I think i have seen her every move because of all the shows of hers i had watched on the computer. I could tell what she was gonna do before she did it. Even all the songs before she got into them. The only thing i wish was that it was alot louder! I want to feel it !!! I had just gone to a Billy Talent concert at the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas and the show was awesome and i could feel the music in my toes. My ears had that great ringing to them just like they should be. I hope in future concerts she will have better bass and accoustics and show us that shes not getting too old for this gig. This was my first Tori Amos concert and really my only second concert ever and my expectations were very very high and my anticipation was intense. I had a great time and was not let down!

  • Best Tori since the 90'S

by Readyfor2012 on 7/30/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

The absolute best show I've seen from Tori in years. Not that any of them have been bad of course. This show was just unbelieveable, standing ovations throughout!

  • Tori in Orlando

Saw her last year in Tampa, but this show was better. She had great energy and talked to the crowd some. Great!

  • Quintessetial Tori

by Nicevox on 7/30/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I was a bit perplexed at only seeing two other musicians besides Tori onstage. Once they began playing, I realized the reason she has been my favorite performer for almost two decades. Tori has a relationship with her instrument, and that is what all her fans come to see. The concert was almost two hours long, and besides a 5 minute break when she went offstage, she played the whole time. Bob Carr is not the easiest venue to have to sit though a show as it is a bit cramped, but you forgave them that for having her there. Her voice never faltered, as is the case with a lot of performers in this day and age of lip synching. There is not much else left to say, because you know that if you went to the concert, she amazed the heck out of everyone.

  • Always amazing

  • Tori Amos Was Amazing

by ENDStart on 7/29/09Chastain Park Amphitheatre Peter Conlon Presents - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I think Tori Amos was amazing. A few people in the audience were loud enough that we had to move the enjoy the show and the no smokeing rule was not enforced. The Chastain Park Ampitheater is beatiful and was the perfect location for thie amazing artist.

by Tori4Ever on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Tori was excited to be back in Florida and she showed it! Her "Close to Home" improv was beautiful and she played an amazing set list. Tori's energy was incredible and she was full of smiles! Another show I will never forget! Thank you Tori! xxx

  • Seeing Tori Live is a Little Slice of Heaven!

by Coda1229 on 7/29/09Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I know that Tori likes to imagine that she plays in a Lizard Lounge for souls in Purgatory, but I must say that in Orlando, it was more like she was playing in the halls of heavenly chorus! I can honestly and truthfully tell you that I have never see anything like Tori's live show, and I can also say that I have not enjoyed a live show so much in my living memory. Her opening act, OneEskimo, was also very good, but when Tori hit the stage, there was nothing else one could possibly focus on. The set list was incredible. She started the show with "Give," and played a lot of stuff from the older albums, as well as from Abnormally Attracted to Sin. There were several moments of absolute blissful rapture, and there's really not even any sense in trying to describe how amazing it was. Her performance speaks for itself, and I recommend it completely.

  • Best show EVER!!!!

by kileyann on 7/29/09Nokia Theatre At Grand Prairie - Grand PrairieRating: 5 out of 5

This was the absolute best show I've ever been to! After working long days, it was nice to unwind to Tori. She really brought a lot of energy and fire in the performance. I loved that this was an upbeat show with lots of humor and light. The Lizard Lounge was a different dynamic, but it worked well. It's always nice to see her and the piano as one. The lights are always spectacular, like the moon and stars. She ended the show with The Big Bang!!! :)
