  • Tori was amazing, as usual

    by Kick ass gen X on 6/13/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 1 out of 5

Tori ALWAYS slays. The venue, however, is a joke. WHY have security & ushers if you are going to allow people who do NOT have close tickets to RUSH the stage & obstruct the view of those of us who DO have close tickets? I will never attend another event at this venue. I’ve been there before & that has not occurred. Very POOR administration.

  • Dream come true!

    by ChubbyTurtle on 6/13/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

I have loved Tori since I was a teen and have never been able to see her live. The Paramount was a great venue. Tori was fabulous, as expected. Companion was a great opener. Perfect evening!

  • BEYOND AMAZING

    by Erin Goss on 6/13/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Tori was beyond amazing as usual! My Sister and I go to see her every time she is in Oakland and she never disappoints. The Theater is beautiful. I am so sad it is over. I always feel like that after the last song. Til next time Tori! <3

  • Tori Is a Crowd Pleaser

    by ArthurL on 6/13/22Paramount Theatre-Oakland - OaklandRating: 5 out of 5

Great show covering classic songs from throughout her career. Included a number of classics that sent the crowd into a frenzy. As always, her singing and piano playing were perfection.

  • A good time was by all.

by Brendan Cavalari on 6/12/22Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land - Sugar LandRating: 5 out of 5

There’s was no long line to get in. There was zero wait for restrooms or concessions. And most of all this venue has the best acoustics EVER!

  • Mesmerizing

by Becky from Bude on 6/9/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Bucketlist concert. 30 years a fan and finally I was lucky enough to experience the beauty that is Tori Amos live and in-person.

  • Warm

by Babs on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

I have loved Tori since 1990. This is the second show that I have seen perform at in the Paramount Theater. The first time I was stage right on the floor seating. This time I was in the mezzanine, stage right, row H. It was way too warm up there with all of the bodies so close in proximity. Please adjust the temp/fan control for future events. The sound was also not as great in the mezzanine. When Tori sang and just played her piano (no guitar and no drums) it was beautiful. When the guitar and drums were added to the mix, it was hard to hear her clearly and I had to strain to hear the words to her new songs. I couldn’t understand many of them. Thank you

  • Disappointing

by Ch on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

The sound mixing was bad; the voice was overpowered, mostly by the drumming. So it was very hard to hear her, except when she did the two numbers solo. She has such a deep catalogue that it’s not surprising that she didn’t do all the favorites, but I’d have been happy to learn new favs. The “super” fans did a lot of screaming.

  • Stunning Goddess of the Emerald City

by Scott Michener on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

She wore emerald green in the Emerald City. She told a story with her song choices, she made it specific to Seattle (I just moved here from 21 years in NYC, and was feeling so sad to not be there), she addressed hers and our grief and rage and longing, and at the very end we washed those things away, and there was just joy. Tori sounded STUNNING. Don’t let the poor sound of the videos misguide you. Her husband knows what he is doing- the sound in the theatre- the whole mix, her voice, the piano, everything- was spectacular. I’ve watched her live since 1992, and this was one of the best. Love you, Tori

  • Amazing show

by Kendra on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The show was awesome! The Paramount is always a great experience and Tori Amos did not disappoint. Be warned though, if you park in the Paramount’s parking, leave at least 30-45 minutes before the show is over, otherwise it will take you (no exaggeration) about 1-2 hours to get out of the parking garage. It took us 1 hour and 45 minutes to finally be able to get out. Everyone was at complete standstill without moving for an hour. Then it was extremely slow start stop for 29 minutes and finally a steady walker’s pace roll for the remaining 11 minutes.

  • Excellent as always!

by Rikki on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Tori's voice is like a fine wine, it just gets better with age.

  • It was ok

by Old fan on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 3 out of 5

With a crowd who cut their teeth on Tori Amos’s early years, it was disappointingly focused on her recent release. Understandable in some respects, only two pieces from her 1.5 hour long set came out of her first three albums. Kind of a disappointment for that.

  • Terrible Sound

    by H on 6/8/22Paramount Theatre - SeattleRating: 2 out of 5

Show was sold as a 7pm start. Started at 7:30 with Companion doing a 30 minute set. Then another 30 minutes passed before Tori Amos and her bass/drums band hit the stage. Throughout, the bass and drums were loud enough to mostly overwhelm the keys and Tori's voice. Very little of her excellent music was enjoyable due to the never corrected sound issues.

  • Phenomenal

by MoynaBird on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Loved every second. Great sound. Wonderful lighting and effects. Best pianist in the world with an amazing band. Beautiful building. It was all I could have asked for. I hope Tori comes back again.

  • What happened?

by Paul long time fan on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 3 out of 5

They had only two workers on her memorabilia table. The sound quality was off. All you could hear was the band. I've seen her 6 times in concert. I've loved every show but this one. I remain a huge fan just disappointed

  • Disabled seating

by Erin S on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 1 out of 5

First, Tori Amos was beautiful and magical as always. The venue however (KC Music Hall) has poor accessibility accommodations. Must of the concert was viewable, but about a third of the concert I could not see from the back row on the floor. The folding chairs were not comfortable. If I had known, I would have arrived in a wheelchair instead of using a cane. When I walked through the metal detector and I told them it would sound because of my cane, they then wanded me and told me I had to put my arms up and put to the side -- my cane is needed and I cannot not use it for a minute while wanded. They eventually sent me on, but how embarrassing!

  • Best night ever

by Rainin on 6/3/22Orpheum Theater - MadisonRating: 5 out of 5

Tori is amazing live. And the Orphium is a great intimate place for her & her band to shine brightly like they do. I saw her at the same venue for her Scarlett Walk Tour & as amazing as that was. I think this show was even better. Time hasn't slowed her down or changed her energy. It was an amazing experience. I am a die hard fan but I think anyone would enjoy her live, she that good. 💜

  • Epic!!!

by Eddie on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Waited 25+ years to finally see Tori. Honestly one of the best shows ever. Tori is a true performer and her epic catalog of music was displayed. Just amazing. So glad I was able to see her live.

  • Tori Amos is still the best.

by Roger on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Wonderful show at KC Music Hall. I hadn't seen Tori since 1999 and she was incredible. She played a few of my favorites and some unexpected deep cuts. Loved the encore! Tori's live shows are truly one of a kind experiences.

  • Ocean to Ocean Tour

by The Lars on 6/3/22Music Hall Kansas City - Kansas CityRating: 5 out of 5

Tori was as beautiful as ever and sounded just as beautiful! She and her band had a lot of fun together performing, which is fun to see. She did a lot of oldies, including her big hits. She also did 3 songs off of her new album. I believe she incorporated at least three different types of pianos/keyboards. She has really mastered going back and forth between them quickly! She also rocks the right hand on the keyboard and her left hand on the Bosendorfer and plays two at the same time. When I first saw her in 1994, I think she only switched to the toy piano once for “Bells For Her.” Two of my favorites from the 5/31/2022 show were “Caught a Lite Sneeze” from Boys For Pele and “Addition of Light Divided” from Ocean to Ocean. They did an encore of “Precious Things” and “Raspberry Swirl.” Light show and backdrops were also amazing!
