Tim Allen on Tour
However busy he may be as one of comedy's biggest stars on screens big and small, Tim Allen stays true to his stand-up roots. Audiences for his live performances are just as eager to show their appreciation for his warm, wry and sometimes wild take on life in America, raising families and getting older.
Allen has honed his signature brand of observational comedy since he began earning laughs in clubs in the mid '70s. One of the most iconic performers to emerge from the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, he rose through the ranks in the '80s before finding fame on Home Improvement, his long-running ABC sitcom. His engaging and hilarious performances as Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story and hapless dad Scott Calvin in The Santa Clause led to two of Hollywood's most popular family-movie franchises. In 2011, he returned to television as the star of Last Man Standing, another hit sitcom that began its eighth season in 2020.
A series of live shows to promote his 2010 film Crazy on the Outside led to a renaissance for Allen's stand-up career and his first stand in Las Vegas since 1993. He continues to regularly perform in venues all over the US.
Who is Tim Allen?
A star at home on both screen and stage, Tim Allen has been a favorite of audiences ever since he broke out of the pack of future greats who found their voices at Los Angeles' iconic Comedy Store in the '80s.
Born in Colorado and raised in Michigan, Allen began his comedy career in clubs and on cable-access shows in the Detroit area in the mid '70s. After overcoming personal troubles and moving to Los Angeles, he soon became known for a sharp brand of observational humor that reflected his everyman perspective and was anything but politically correct. Allen found another means of showcasing his wry take on love, marriage and family life when his sitcom Home Improvement began its hugely successful run on ABC in 1991. His star rose higher with his performances in Toy Story and The Santa Clause, two big-screen family hits that spawned blockbuster franchises.
His other film credits include Christmas with the Kranks, Zoom, Crazy on the Outside and The Shaggy Dog. His two books Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man and I'm Not Really Here were bestsellers. In 2011, he returned to television to star in Last Man Standing, another long-running hit sitcom. Allen continues to perform live for audiences throughout the US.

It wasn't the subject it was the delivery. He just wasn't funny.
I am his biggest fan . He is iconic and loved . Thank you time Allen for being a big part of our family’s life
I love Tim Allen. His performance started out a little slow but quickly picked up speed and I was so sad when it ended. He was outstanding and I laughed harder than I have in years. His warm up comedian was also outstanding.
Very well done. Tim was great way better I thought it would be he would out of the park. It was a great time. My wife and I had so much fun and I have two time stuff at home so it was great to see The Man Tim the tool man Taylor. it would’ve been fun if Heidi would’ve been there or Al. Or Wilson
I’ve been a fan of his for years, however, never have seen him in person. His show was wonderful, witty, and probably one of the most enjoyable evenings I’ve had in a long time with a standup comic/talent. The theatre was so extremely comfortable, and their staff was accommodating. Overall, I would highly recommend and I can’t wait to see him again in the future.
Tim Allen was awesome he was absolutely hysterical and entertaining, my wife and I both enjoyed the show very much. His opening act Lowell Sanders was extremely funny and I could see us going to see him as a headliner. Props to Tim for using such an outstanding comedian as an opening act. I would recommend everybody go see Tim Allen.I give the show an A++++++++

So, after reading his reviews, I was concerned that Tim Allen was going to be crude, angry, foul mouthed, and not funny. Instead, we watched him do 71 non-stop minutes of side splitting comedy. He was excellent. Go see him!
An amazing show ! Would highly recommend. He was so funny we all left with tears from laughing so hard. This was our second time seeing him and can’t wait to do it again.
By far the best comedic show I have seen in over 20 years. He just has the best ability to tell a joke. Punchline and all. I will go to see him again in a heartbeat! I saw Kevin James two weeks earlier and I thought he was good but Tim Allen blew the thought out the window. Everyone was laughing a lot and very hard. Everyone had smiles on their faces as they left vs the Kevin James show
Tim Allen was hysterical. There was not a second during the show that we were not laughing, almost to the point of tears. Highly recommend this show to anyone visiting Vegas!
This is the first time I've seen Tim's stand up routine. I've liked him as an actor, and have enjoyed his TV shows and movies. His stand-up routine is, hands down, his best work!! He was hilarious!!!!! If he tours again in this area, I will not miss his next show!
This was not the Tim Allen we were expecting. He was not funny. He was grouchy and seemed very unhappy with all that life has handed him. His language was over the top with profanity, which wasn’t necessary or at all funny. We were just very dissapointed with the show and couldn’t wait to get out of the theater. It was bad.
Easy experience getting tickets. Show was amazing and well worth the price!
Enjoyed opening act as well as Tim Allen both were very funny and worth every penny; unfortunately, found the Orpheum Theatre claustrophobic and uncomfortable. Also, the wait for the women's bathroom was annoying.
This was a dream come true for me to see Tim Allen. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue. My gut hurt from laughing! Love this guy.
We were so excited to see Tim Allen! Figured he would be a great comedian! Sad to say he was not what we expected at all! We were shocked at how much swearing he did, especially using the F word over and over and over again. He said a few times how he HATES kids!! Unbelievable that he could have such GREAT family shows and movies and then relate that he actually hates kids! Did not enjoy working with them in the Santa Clause movies, had to be sat down and told to stop using the F word in front of the kids! His routine was not what we expected at all! I would never go see him again or recommend him to anyone. If you want to see a true comdedian, go see Jerry Seinfeld!
This was my first comedy show- and Tim Allen didn't dissapoint ! My dad and I had alot of fun. Thanks for stopping in MN Tim!
You gotta love tim allen but seriously is the f bomb necessary every 5th word…
