I thought he was hilarious and so much fun. I would love to go to another show of Bill Engvall. The show moved by so fast and it was so interesting.

Bill was hilarious. Enjoyed every minute.

Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

Bill is a very funny comedian whose comedy doesn't utilize obscenity or vulgarity. He just takes real world everyday experiences and shows the humor in them. Could easily have listen to him for another hour and a half.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Evening

Rialto Square Theatre - Joliet

This is the first time we've seen Bill perform and it was an excellent show. Great story teller. Kept the show moving along at a good pace--at no point did he lag or slow down. To paraphrase Groucho Marx, it's easy to be funny if you use profanity and sex in your writing / comedy. To be truly funny without sex and profanity is a lot harder; you actually have to smart and have some powers of insight & observation. Kudos to Bill for a great set that did not use the crutches of blue humor!!!

He was great. The experience was well worth the price. The venue however seemed to have technical difficulties.

Awesome

Bridge View Center - Ottumwa

We had a blast watching Bill last Saturday night in Iowa. The man will make you laugh until you have tears running down your face most of the night. We had the Fourth row from the front so we was able to see all of his face expectations. We would definitely go and see him again sometime.

Good but could be better

Bridge View Center - Ottumwa

Bill started a little slow, but quickly got into the “Engvall Mode”. Classic! However must reduce my review due to the venue. Poor sound, couldnt hear all the time. Can’t they put speakers in the rear? We were 28 rows back on flat seating, could not distinguish who was on stage! Big screen TVs? The Bridgeview needs to take a lesson,(or several) from the state fair. Won’t go back unless I can be assured of seating in the first 10 rows! Bill was good, but the show could’ve been better!

Show Details

As a founding member of the Blue Collar Comedy group, Bill Engvall has become an incredibly successful stand-up comic with his country comedy and observational satire style. In 2000, Engvall and Foxworthy launched the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which has performed stand-up concerts for ticket holders on six treks across North America and the U.K. Since then, he has put out six more albums, including the No. 1 comedy albums 2004’s A Decade of Laughs, 2007’s 15° Off Cool and 2012’s Them Idiots: Whirled Tour with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy. He attended Southwestern University in Georgetown but left school and worked as a tour guide and disc jockey before trying his hand at stand-up in Dallas, Texas. Engvall moved to Southern California in 1990 to pursue comedy full time, and ended up hosting A&E’s An Evening at The Improv, as well as performing stand-up on The Tonight Show and the Late Show with David Letterman. In 1992, he was named Best Male Standup at the American Comedy Awards. He became a regular on Delta Burke’s ABC series Delta, and later was cast alongside fellow comic Jeff Foxworthy in his NBC show. In 1996, Engvall signed to Warner Bros. Records and released his first comedy album, entitled Here's Your Sign based on his signature bit. The album sold over one million copies and peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Country album chart.
