Floor plan was close but not represented per our seats. Did not appreciate having to walk through the smoke filled casino. First impression was walking into the smokey room and last impression as we left. I saw some having to cover their mouth trying to breathe. Opening act and T Allen were good.

About
Tim Allen on Tour
However busy he may be as one of comedy's biggest stars on screens big and small, Tim Allen stays true to his stand-up roots. Audiences for his live performances are just as eager to show their appreciation for his warm, wry and sometimes wild take on life in America, raising families and getting older.
Allen has honed his signature brand of observational comedy since he began earning laughs in clubs in the mid '70s. One of the most iconic performers to emerge from the Comedy Store in Los Angeles, he rose through the ranks in the '80s before finding fame on Home Improvement, his long-running ABC sitcom. His engaging and hilarious performances as Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story and hapless dad Scott Calvin in The Santa Clause led to two of Hollywood's most popular family-movie franchises. In 2011, he returned to television as the star of Last Man Standing, another hit sitcom that began its eighth season in 2020.
A series of live shows to promote his 2010 film Crazy on the Outside led to a renaissance for Allen's stand-up career and his first stand in Las Vegas since 1993. He continues to regularly perform in venues all over the US.
Who is Tim Allen?
A star at home on both screen and stage, Tim Allen has been a favorite of audiences ever since he broke out of the pack of future greats who found their voices at Los Angeles' iconic Comedy Store in the '80s.
Born in Colorado and raised in Michigan, Allen began his comedy career in clubs and on cable-access shows in the Detroit area in the mid '70s. After overcoming personal troubles and moving to Los Angeles, he soon became known for a sharp brand of observational humor that reflected his everyman perspective and was anything but politically correct. Allen found another means of showcasing his wry take on love, marriage and family life when his sitcom Home Improvement began its hugely successful run on ABC in 1991. His star rose higher with his performances in Toy Story and The Santa Clause, two big-screen family hits that spawned blockbuster franchises.
His other film credits include Christmas with the Kranks, Zoom, Crazy on the Outside and The Shaggy Dog. His two books Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man and I'm Not Really Here were bestsellers. In 2011, he returned to television to star in Last Man Standing, another long-running hit sitcom. Allen continues to perform live for audiences throughout the US.

To everyone who loves Tim on Last Man Standing, do not watch him live. All we got was a drunken tirade about the apparent communist government of California, aunts with sagging breasts and other non funny stuff. I love Last Man Standing. I was disappointed by Tim's "performance". Plenty of other comedians are funnier. Take Jeff Dunham for instance. Save your evening and do something else. Knit a toad a sweater if you have to, its way better time spent...

Just OK Show
by NinjaG on 9/10/13Sands Showroom at the Venetian - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5Would have rated much higher. Tim's show doesn't need the blue humor. His content and delivery stands on it's own.

by Judijude on 6/10/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5His show kept me laughing with his realistic look at the world. Tim Allen is a class act.
Tim Allen was very enjoyable!
by PJ211 on 6/9/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5My husband and I have tried to see him several times during our visits to Las Vegas, but he was sold out. Finally, we saw and enjoyed his show. Thought the lenght of the show was a little short, but felt it was a fair price for our tickets comparing them to other shows we have seen.
Tim Allen ws great!
by BruceQ on 6/9/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5Saw Tim Allen at Venetian in Vegas June 7th. His routine made me laugh so hard my chair shook! The routine was current with events and had only a lttle of his tool-time references. Better than Ray Romano who I saw June 8th at Mirage.
Tim Allen 'Outrageously Funny'
by YTDC on 5/30/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5Tim Allen : What a fantastic stand up performance. He was hilarious from beginning to end. A thoroughly enjoyable evening in such a great venue, I still smile when I think about it..........
Great experience
by Ste1984 on 5/26/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5Me and the wife were on our honeymoon from UK. We knew Tim Allen was performing so we booked VIP tickets to see him. We're big Tim Allen fans so seeing him in person was a great experience in its self. The whole thing got even better because he was very funny and very down to earth. Definitely recommend the show to anyone.
Tim Allen was awesome!
by DebbieR2 on 5/20/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5Tim Allen was hands-down the best comedy show I've ever seen. There was never a dull moment and he was absolutely hilarious.

Tim Allen
by Notatoolmanfan on 5/6/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5We saw Tim Allen May 4, 2013. His "warm up" comedian was HILARIOUS!!! We could have listened to him for the entire 90 minutes. We really like Tim Allen and so we really wanted to like his show......but it was a let down. He had some funny moments, but he needs to update his comedy routine because it is the same thing he has been saying/doing for years. In his defense......maybe this is why it is called a "routine". He had a very foul mouth and said at the beginning that he was going to have a foul mouth because he was just lazy. I wish he would have taken the time to update his comedy instead of just thinking he could get away with being vulgar and thinking that could be a substitute for funny. It might have been funny once or twice, but when that is what he relies on for his entire routine it gets old. Like I said.....his "warm up" comedian came prepared and had the ENTIRE crowd constantly laughing. I gave this 3 stars but only because the "warm up" comedian was so funny!!
So so funny
by Cynder777 on 5/6/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5I laughed so hard it actually hurt. It was amazing.
You really need to see him in person
by TimInVegas on 5/5/13The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5He was everything I expected and more. Never stopped laughing, definitely not for the PC crowd since most of them don't have a sense of humor.

Show was good but not the quality we expected from a seasoned comedian. Was hard to follow sometimes.
Performance was disjointed.
by DenverCouple on 4/28/13Sands Showroom at the Venetian - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5Love, love, love, the characters Tim plays on TV and in movies. In person routine seemed disjointed.
Fun Night Out!
by LP30301 on 4/22/13Sands Showroom at the Venetian - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5Definitely with an emphasis on FUN. Tim Allen & the gentleman who preceeded him were very funny. Bring a kleenex - you will laugh so hard you will cry. The Sands Showroom, while not glitzy, is small & intimate. A fun, refreshing event if you're not in the mood for concerts or showgirls.
Swore Like a pirate
by Anonymous on 4/22/13Sands Showroom at the Venetian - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5I was surprised and disappointed that he used so much profanity and vulgarity. I expected more From Tim Allen. He was very funny, but that's no excuse.
Tim Allen is a classic genuine comic
by Dreamsdie2 on 4/21/13Sands Showroom at the Venetian - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5You've seen his movies, his TV shows, and you quite possibly could have seen his standup in the past. His show is laugh out loud funny from his opening lines right until the last. The best part about his act is that you can instantly tell (even if you're not familiar with him) that he is a naturally funny guy. His act consists of his outlook on current events, life, religion, men and women, and stories from his past. Every bit as hilarious and entertaining as you would expect. If you get the chance to see him, don't miss it!
