Awesome concert! Bon Jovi is my favorite band and Jon did not disappoint. My favorite songs were the Bon Jovi originals, but he also covered some great songs. David Cook was a great opener.
Would always come back to see john. David cook was great, also.
Very nice venue (Mandalay Events Center, Las Vegas). East in and out. Took a little time to get a taxi after event ... gave us a little time to gamble and have another cocktail. The show ... John definitely did not disappoint the crowd. He played a mix of his music and his new friends music (Kings of Soul). Voice is still strong and wonderful delivery.
Bon Jovi was doing a charity event without his regular band members. If I had know this, I would not have attended. He played alot of non Bon Jovi music.
Incredible! From the very first note with David Cook and his band - boy, were they on FIRE! What an unexpected treat that was! And Jon Bon Jovi really delivered! I loved how he did a mixture of Bon Jovi hits and covered some other great songs, Pretty Woman, Rolling Stones hits and so many others! And Lorenza Ponce on her violin was something to behold and to hear! She is amazing! It was a really good concert all the way around. Jon seemed to be in a good mood and happy to be there. The band he was playing with Kings of Suburbia (I think that was their name), was great, the lead singer (female) had a wonderful voice ... it really was a fun concert! I was really glad I came. The horn section was fabulous, too! I didn't want it to end!
So worth flying across country for! Jon was totally amazing! His choice of material was awesome! Great to see him outside of the band, singing some different classic covers. He looked like he was really having fun! Totally different than I have ever seen him before! I am so lucky I was able to be there He was on stage forever and never took a break. Just completely AMAZING! I will forever be a fan! Even my husband thought it was a great show, and let's be honest we were only there because of my life long love of Jon Bon Jovi!
What a great night with David Cook and John Bon Jovi!
I LOVED the Tiger Jam show at Mandalay Bay Events Center on 4/28/12. David Cook and his band did a stellar job of warming up the audience for Jon Bon Jovi with great live versions of some of David's best known songs such as "Declaration", "Circadian", "Come Back To Me", "Light On" and the shredder, "Barbasol". I especially loved the band's cover of Led Zep's "Rock and Roll" and "Whole Lotta Love". David Cook and his band added a lot to the evening for me!!! Jon Bon Jovi was also wonderful singing many hits from the Bon Jovi catalogue such as "Wanted, Dead Or Alive", "You Give Love A Bad Name" and "Livin' On A Prayer". He was backed by an amazing band (not his own band) which included horns and a great female singer who added a touch of soul to some of the older songs that Bon Jovi covered such as the Stones' "Start Me Up". Both Jon Bon Jovi and David Cook looked and sounded fantastic and I was so glad that I was able to attend this very special event. The added bonus was that it helped to raise over a million dollars for the Tiger Woods Foundation!!!
The most amazing ever. So glad was able to go. My first ever Bon Jovi concert. Can't wait for next concert.
What an awesome show! Even without the rest of the usual band, JBJ rocked hard and entertained the crowd...I wish it could have been twice as long!
Bon Jovi and Friends blasted thru number after number, some his and others from his juke box list. No one could sit still.
A night to be remembered, we had floor seats the opeing act was David Cook, who also did some excellent covers. Jon Bon Jovi and some other musicians did Bon Jovi and other covers and did them very well! Loved it!
More then I expected. Jammed for two straight hours.
Keith brought his game...John...not so much:/ Huge JM fan and have seen him several times...was a bit disappointed and was not blown away like I've been every other time. Maybe it was due to the fact he didnt have his regular band with him or was burned out from his battle studies tour. Didnt care for the tempo change in songs like "Who says". It was a long and expensive trip for a bit of a let down on his set! Still love JM and will always get tix to see him! Never saw Keith Urban before and was totally blown away and came home and immediately got tickets for his Get Closer tour...saw that last night and it was AMAZING!
Great concert! We love John Mayer, discovered Keith and love him too! We saw them on Palladia, Crossroads Concert, loved it! It was so much fun, I wish we were closer! We'll do it again for sure! And the Mandalay Bay is a great place to be for this kind of concert! Our 2nd time seeing John Mayer there! :)
I love JM and have seen him four times, at this concert it seemed that he didn't want to be there and didn't do the normal jamming out sessions that I have come to expect from him live. Was it worth $165 no, but I do love JM and will always seem him when I can. Will I fly down to Vegas to see him again at this venue....probably not.
These two rocked it together!!! It's like they are in another world when playing the guitar together!! I can only hope to get the chance to see these two in concert again!
I loved how they both played alone and then together. I would go see them again in a heartbeat! I saw them on Crossroads on CMT and decided I would go see them if they came to Vegas, either together or separately. I was so excited to see they were going to be at Tiger Jam and bought my ticket.
Tiger Jam was great this year, but I would have like to see more of John Mayer and I wish he had some merchandise for sale. I was visiting from the UK and specifically booked tickets for this show to see John Mayer.
Loved it!!! I only wished they each would of played more songs!!! I am an avid fan of both and wanted so much more music from each. I felt they didnt sing the songs I wanted to hear. But with that said, what they did play solo & as duos was awesome!! The can surely ROCK out Vegas!!!
