The Wood Brothers Tickets

I could die happy after Friday nights show! The set list was excellent. I love hearing new sings from my favorite band live, and surprised! It was so wonderful. I love the Bowery!

Great great show! Love their unique sound. Bluegrass/ rock fusion with a funky twist at times. Wished it was longer though. Visibility was a bit tough for a short person but close to the band over all.

Chris and Oliver Wood along with drummer Jano Rix rocked the Paradise in Boston on Thursday Feb 28th. An edgy blend of bluegrass, funk, roots, Americana and plain old fuzzed out rock and roll topped off with beautiful three part harmonies. These guys are the real deal. Anyone who knows Chris Wood from MMW knows that he can bring it on the upright bass and the rest of the band is equally as talented. Check out the Wood Brothers if you are craving the sounds of the Allmans, Meters, Little Feat, Dead, Cash, George Clinton, Toussaint, and anyone else who rocked us before facebook came along.

They straight killed it. First WB show for me and was not disappointed. Sound was great and they kept it going the whole way through the show. Will be seeing them again next time they come through. Love the Paradise too. Dope venue.

There are not enough words to say how good this show was. I never review shows because, but this one was so good I have to. I am a huge fan, but I brought a guy who had never even heard of them and he loved it. THey sounded so good, so clean, so perfect. I go to many, many shows and this was my favorite in a very long time.

This show was simply one of the best examples of why live music is so important. The Wood Brothers put on an in-the-moment performance that makes me happy to be human.

I anticipated a great show, but the Wood Brothers' performance was phenomenal. Very engaging with the crowd and demonstrated extraordinary talent. Great music and a fun time!

I'd recommend a live Wood Brothers show to anyone....Amazing band, amazing show. Venue was good too, if you stipulate that there will always be one middle aged redneck drunk off her ass, and she will be sitting behind ME.

I last saw the Wood Brothers live @ The Savannah Music Festival 2010 and they have grown in their stage presence amazingly since then. Their music is such that you really ought not bother with chairs because you really just want to be up on your feet. Awesome job guys!!!

Such a great venue. Seats maybe 500. Very intimate setting which is perfect for these guys. If you really want to appreciate the quality of the venue & the band, sit in the first 8 rows. I've seen so many shows at so many venues & this combo is one of my top picks! I've seen them twice at the same location & neither disapoint! I was able to meet them & they signed my ticket. Very approachable!

Great venue, even better band! Very impressed with the number of people packed into the place and still was able to have a great time/have access to the bar.

The Wood Brothers at the Tralf was an amazing show. Unbelievably tight playing, and spot on vocals and harmonies. They played a bit from all their albums, including a new song. Got the crowd on its feet after only a few songs. Overall, an absolutely stunning concert!

I have now made several roadtrips to see the Wood Brothers live. They never disappoint. Thanks for rocking!

The Wood Brothers always sound great, and I actually like the sound of the PA at the Paradise. I just have to take away one star because of the rows of folding chairs set up in front of the stage. I think this decision was on the part of the Wood Brothers since I saw something similar at their show at the Port City Music Hall a year or two ago, and I've never seen chairs at any other show at the Paradise, even for artists like Dr. John who draw an older crowd. Other than that great show!

The show was incredible. The drummer they have added really gives their sound what it needs. The opener was really great as well. I loved the venue, with chairs set up like an old-time bluegrass band would have, yet room in the back and on the sides for dancing and the upper level for revelry. The beers were great, reasonably priced. I absolutely love these guys , they really feel out their audience to see what is needed. They realized that the crowd loved their first album after lots of cheers, so they played more songs from this, as well as songs from their new album. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM.

Nice intimate small venue, kind of a rowdy buzzed crowd, but the band fed off that energy not impeccable sound quality but Chris's base was bringing the thunder all night and Oliver's voice was ringing through the rafters. Solid opener

Why did it take so long for these guys to start playing together? This was the best Tuesday night I have had in a long time or maybe ever. The music sounded great, the band was having fun, and the crowd was in for a treat. I had to take the train back to CT for work but I would have stayed all night if they kept playing. I thought they might when they came out for a second encore. I really hope they keep touring and making records together for a long time.
