The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

Great concert great venue. Only little glitche was they must not have opened the doors at 7 like recorded because there was huge line of people waiting to get in and was not very organized and show started late because of this.

I took my 10 yr old daughter to see them as they are her favorite of all times. They made it so special for her and the whole concert was outstanding. My daughter has a fatal and rare disease and they really know how to make a person feel special and number one as well as getting the whole crowd involved with their concert. I will be coming back for more of their concerts. Thank you all for making this a memory I will never ever forget 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

by Gabriellechenel on 10/29/18Atlanta Symphony Hall - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The men were awesome. My teenager enjoyed it as well. The only thing that took away from the concert were the women who put on TOO much perfume. One sat in front of us and the other behind us.

  • Wonderful mix of music and style

by Anonymous on 10/27/18Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Lovely theater - not too large. Great seats and sound. The Tenors were PERFECT. Sang a mixture of opera, Motown and even Sweet Carolina. Would recommend 100% and can't wait till they return (hopefully to the Carolina Theater).

  • Great music & venue, not the best song selection

by GrampieSmith on 10/27/18Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 4 out of 5

The Carolina Theater is a classic old style auditorium, with traditional theater seating. The staff was pleasant and professional. The Tenors are incredibly gifted vocalists and their band are all outstanding musicians. Their performance was pretty much flawless. They sang a couple songs which I don't agree with the lyrical message, from a personal perspective. That doesn't mean I wouldn't see them again, but would prefer they do more of their own music, instead of so many cover songs. I own all their albums, so was looking forward to hearing THAT music live.

Talent is never ending. Every year the show gets better.

  • A little disappointed in The Tenors' show

by Cottage210 on 10/19/18NYCB Theatre at Westbury - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

The first 45 minutes of the show were great. Good song choices. Then it was break time... a half hour!!! The second half of the show consisted of a bunch of songs that were not in their catalog or, to me, worthy of their vocal talents (Sweet Caroline, Delilah, Suspicious Minds, etc.). There were multiple exits from the stage. At one point the band, which wasn't anything spectacular, did their own jam for about 5 minutes or so (again, the guys were off stage). Not sure what the point of that was. While I am glad I got to see them in person as they did sing some really great stuff in the first 45 minutes, the second half of the show left me scratching my head and feeling a little flat.

  • TENORS were exhilarating!!!

by Satinstar on 10/19/18NYCB Theatre at Westbury - WestburyRating: 5 out of 5

The TENORS kept you on the edge of your seat with sincerity, talent, and delivery. And, boy.....do they deliver!! You want more. You feel like you could listen for 3 or 4 hours. The tune variety was amazing, the rapport with the audience engaging and heartfelt. I cannot wait to see them again. It is a wonderful night out with personable beautiful singers who steal your heart!!!!! I highly recommend them.

If you weren’t feeling festive enough, this performance was one to elevate holiday spirits to new heights! From the delightful classics, sung with oh so dreamy harmonies to beautiful Solo performances. It was live entertainment at its best, engaging the audience and performed with smiles throughout. I’ll definately be headed back the next time they are in town and you should too!

  • Perfect Start to the Christmas Season!

by mbabin on 12/24/17Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 5 out of 5

3rd time seeing The Tenors, and the best show yet! Nice, small venue with great acoustics. The Tenors bring such joy, passion and pure talent to the stage that makes you forget all your worries for a few hours and just embrace the moment. As always, I highly recommend The Tenors and am looking forward to their next visit to MA!

  • Festive, fun and fantastic

    by TravelingGirl1 on 12/24/17Lynn Auditorium - LynnRating: 5 out of 5

I was prepared to like this evening. I love live music and adding the Christmas theme is just a great bonus. I wasn’t prepared to LOVE it the way I did. Every song. It was a perfect pre-Christmas night. Complaints were only about the facility not the act itself. Bathroom situation was brutal and the wine was gross. Other than that it was a great night.
