The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

So nice to be able to be back at the Jubilee enjoying performances. The Tenors were a great way to start our Christmas season. The music was beautiful and I try to attend the concert every holiday when they are in Calgary. They are very entertaining chatting with the audience and their voices are outstanding. Love, Love, Love then!

  • Left me disappointed

by Bernie on 11/29/21Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

I paid over $500 for 3 tickets in the nosebleed section of the Jubilee. Tyler Shaw started at 8:00 and sang until 8:15. The Tenors came on and sang until 9:05 and took a 1/2 hour break at 9:30. The concert ended at 10:05. WHEN they sang it was great but they spent too much time advertising their t-shirts and other paraphernalia. Very disappointing!

  • A great show

The tenors and their guest artist Tyler Shaw put on a great performance. The acoustics were very good, and they connected with the audience.

  • A Greatly Needed Performance

by AWO on 11/29/21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The Canadian Tenors gave an inspirational Christmas themed performance at the Jubilee in Edmonton. The variety of selections gave something for everyone. Their powerful voices, casual banter, and thoughtful commentary supplemented the singing. The only criticism is that the Jubilee needs to reduce the sound volume because with such powerful voices, there were times when the sound became distorted.

  • Fabulous Tenors!

Tenors Santa’s Wish Tour...so good to experience live music again and there was no disappointment here! Opener Tyler Shaw is an up and coming joy and the main act was wonderful; thanks for coming back to Edmonton🤗❗️

  • Live music please

by A little disappointed on 11/29/21Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

The voices are beautiful and the arrangements were great but the canned background music really diminished the experience. The musicians you did have on stage were very talented. Please do a 100% live show next time.

  • Nothing New

by bb on 11/28/21Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

It was great to see a Christmas show and just go to a concert again. The fact that they did nothing new, rushed through everything, and the standing fact that the sound at the Jubilee is the worst, didn't seem to damper this. The price for this performance will definitely influence my decision next time they roll into town.

by DanielleT on 12/23/19Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This was the second year in a row my mom and I attended The Tenors' Christmas show - this year with front row seats!. Magical, soul stirring...beautiful, moving renditions of Christmas songs, old and new. We love how they share pieces of their lives with the audience, reinforcing the beauty and joy of family and friends at this time of year...and all year long. Hoping to join them again next December!

3 of the stiffest men I’ve ever seen on a stage. They have wonderful voices but no life.
