About

The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

by Jewels on 5/11/22Massey Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The acoustics at Massey Hall are phenomenal. Great seats everywhere. The e tickets you sent would not scan at the venue. We needed to go to the box office for a reprint. Price was extremely high plus in American dollars Tenors are fantastic entertainment.

This was my first time to see the Tenors live and it was fantastic! I will definitely be seeing them more in the future. They are very engaging with the crowd and love their fans. They also offer a VIP experience for after the performance.

  • Best Concert

by Jan on 5/8/22The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - WindsorRating: 5 out of 5

The Tenors have been one of my favorite groups for years. We always see them when they play the Caesars in Windsor. The concert they put on Thursday, may 5th was one of the best concerts my husband and I have attended. This was the first concert at Caesars since the Covid shut down and our first trip to Windsor in a long time. We had tickets for the Christmas concert last year but Caesars was shut down due to Covid. So glad we were able to experience this fabulous evening. forward

  • Fabulous!

by Victoria on 1/13/22FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

We loved The Tenors and Tyler Shaw concert! We loved everything about it- from each of The Tenors group performances to each of The Tenors' solos to Tyler Shaw's performance, to when they all came together to perform with Santa and their fun Christmas sweaters. Everything about it was so much fun and very entertaining- we had the time of our lives! This was our 5th time seeing Tyler Shaw (we love him) but it was our first time seeing The Tenors and we would absolutely go back to see them in a heartbeat.

by Tenors fan on 12/23/21FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The Tenors captured the spirit of the season once again. Tyler Shaw added to the stage full of talent. Such a roller coaster of emotions throughout the entire show leaving the audience with uplifted spirits. Beautiful venue with courteous ushers and staff!! Disappointed that the Meet & Greet was canceled but understandable and very much appreciated that the Tenors and the venue took every precaution to keep all in attendance safe.

  • Christmas 2019 gift unwrapping

by Dro on 12/23/21FirstOntario Concert Hall - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

I was thrilled to finally open my 2019 Christmas gift—The Tenors Concert. So thankful it was not cancelled due to Omicron. I feel First Ontario Concert Hall could have done a better job in ensuring all guests were socially distanced by re-arranging the seating chart especially as it was at 50% capacity. Yes I understand that takes time, (having worked in a box office) however in todays world this would have made my experience 5*. The Tenors did not disappoint! Loved the Father son performance and the special “hybrid” Jake Koot & Tenors number.

  • Magical Tenors

by Rhoda Blue on 12/20/21National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

This concert was truly magical! The flawless performances by the Tenors, Tyler Shaw and the band members made it truly memorable. Protocols were enforced which made for a safer venue. Thank you NAC. We look forward to seeing the Tenors again on their next visit to Ottawa.

  • The Tenors

by Kalloopi on 12/17/21Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

The show The Tenors at the Orpheum on Dec 13/21 was FANTASTIC. The 3 tenors were very personable and I always feel i am a part of their family, intimate show. The new singer Taylor Shaw was just as great as the tenors. Again very personable and a great performer. Can’t wait for next years show.

  • tight seating - empty rows all around us

by Whip on 12/16/21Orpheum Theatre - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Love the Tenors -- quick to get in through the doors because we arrived early?! sorry they had some videoed and canned music: choir, strings, etc Thought the Orpheum would provide a proper scrim for them... bought swag to support artists and their art - first time out to LIVE production in two years so made the most of it!

  • Top notch energetic performance!
