The Tenors on Tour
Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.
The Tenors in Concert
The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

The Tenors voices and their harmonies are refreshing. So good to hear true talent
Cannot experience the greatness on cd or video. that is why we drove from Detroit to see them in person ..these professionals were awesome and Olympic in their performances. Totally professional and classic.. so powerful brought tears to our eyes and heart touching dynamics... This performance also was enjoyable because the audience was so polite and they were there to hear the Tenors and were no distractions and audience noise...
We drove over 200 miles and crossed into Canada to see their last performance of 2012. My lady friend was skeptical of the trip being wise so close to Christmas. After the 3rd song, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, I turned to her and said, "that song alone made the trip worthwhile." She replied that she was thinking the same thing. That song isn't one that you would think of as a standout. It was a nice blend of seasonal, classical, show, and pop tunes. Solo performances were intertwined with ensemble numbers. There was an instantaneous standing ovation at the end by the entire sold out crowd of 5000.
Fabulous, staff were very nice, entertainment was perfect
show was great, did however sing alot of songs from last years show, except a couple from new cd.
This is by far the best concert ever. I have seen the Tenors the last 3 years they have been at Ceasars. They only keep getting better. I consider their singing as perfection. Totally heartfelt and perfect pitch and harmony. I am blessed to have been able to see their concert and actually meet them afterward.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING - can't wait till they come back next year.
This is the second time I've seen their holiday show at Caesars Windsor. Last year's show was awesome and so was this year's! Their music is so beautiful, you just don't want the show to end. They each have a solo, and they preface their individual songs with stories that are very personal. The guys seem to get along so well together, and they have light moments mixed in, especially after the heavier solos. They are SINGERS...not lip synchers. You can understand the words, unlike younger performers who don't think it's important to enunciate. Their song set had some additions from the new CD as well as the old favorites, including Hallelujah, which, they teased, they were going to take out of the show until they got death threats through Twitter!! Everyone knew they weren't (hopefully) serious; who can forget the Oprah show when Celine Dion surprised them in the middle of the song? Goose bumps. Beautiful, beautiful show, and they sign CDs afterwards. Fans really appreciate that! They are so thankful for everyone's support. If you can, go seem them in concert!
Doesn't get any better than these guys! If you get the opportunity to see them in concert. Run, do not walk to get tickets.
My husband and I had the opportunity to see "The TENORS" at Treasure Island Casino in 2010. We both agreed that it was the MOST spectacular concert we had ever attended. We made a major contribution to PBS and obtained tickets to the show. We sat in the 3rd row...center.... omg........... I was so taken by the harmony and beautiful voices of these four gentlemen. We cannot wait to attend the June 2013 concert in Minneapolis. I encourage everyone to attend a concert of "The Tenors" formerly known as "The Canadian Tenors".
An all around magical evening. One can't help but be touched with emotion when these guys share their amazing gift. Each tenor had a solo that moved the whole audience. Together, they simply knocked our socks off. [I never did find mine again.] I am a true fan and supporter. I think these men are the real McCoy. They are down-to-earth, funny and friendly. Their musical talent is truly beyond compare. They're humble and thankful too. ...I for one and humble and thankful for them! Don't stop the music guys!!!
It was a very, very nice evening, very entertaining!!!
These guys are unbelievable! Found them about 3yrs ago and have been following them since. There music is beautiful and crosses generations. I took my parents 60's and my daughter in her teens and we all love these guys. There voices will move you . Best part is how thankful they are... they usually stay after the show to meet there fans and squeeze in a few pics. Love them and can't wait for the new cd in March and there next tour!
An excellent powerful group of singers. Concert was well balanced between seasonal/regular music A must see group
The Canadian Tenors were superb. Their vocals were exceptional and coupled with their chairming personalities and easy manner with the audience it made a for a night to not soon be forgotten. We travelled from Florida to the Wilbur Theater for the performance and enjoyed the ambiance of this quaint theater. Great venue for an intimate evening of amazing music.
Amazing, way beyond my expectations. Hopefully will get to see them again.
This was one of the best concerts I have attended in many years. I first learned about the Tenors a few months ago and have now evolved into a big fan. They put on a very professional show and are extremely accomplished musicians and singers. I cannot recommend them more!
They came on stage and filled the theater with their special sound. Their voices were in fine shape, and they shared many stories and laughs. They were happy to be performing, and the happiness spread to all of us in the audience. The show was a mixture of their two CDs and new solos and was enthusiastically received. The show was not long enough, but then it never could be. I had traveled a long distance to see and hear them in person and would do it again.
This is the second time I have seen these guys and they are never a disappointment. They are such classy men and their singing is so beautiful. They sound just like their CDs. There were 9 of us that went to the concert. We are still talking about it. Thank you for such an awesome concert.
