About
The Tenors on Tour
Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.
The Tenors in Concert
The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

best birthday present of my life.i would recommend this to any one anyone with an ear to superb music
Great voices make it worth it!
by Catpuzzles on 4/28/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 4 out of 5Saw the show in Raleigh - the first city on a 45-city tour. Their voices are amazingly beautiful and harmonious. Their voices, enthusiasm and desire to please the crowd overcome a few elements...a few technical aspects needed to be polished, sometimes they try too hard to relate to and please the crowd, and their band could be better (sometimes too loud and drowns their voices even as powerful as they are). The band also needs to be expanded with strings when they an afford it. If you like Andre Bocelli and Il Divo, you should love the Tenors. Their advantage - they do a beautiful believable job with pop music better than these other classical crossover artists. Enjoy!!

The Tenors were unbelievable
by MarkKahn on 4/27/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5The Tenors gave a personal touch. They just did not sing, they gave the audience a personal talk on how they got started. I feel that when the Local Carie Academy had the choir sing that the Audio guy should have up the volume of the Choir. They spend a lot of time rehearsing that I feel their voices should have been heard. All and all The tenors were GREAT and looking forward for their return in December.
Great performance

by LC1215 on 4/27/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5I was able to bring my mother and grandmother and we had a great time. My grandmother had never heard of the group but I told her she would fall in love with them by the first note. She is turning 90 this year, my mother is turning 60, and I will be 30 so this was a great way to kick off out birthday celebration. We all look forward to seeing them again!
The Tenors
by mneil on 4/26/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5The Tenors were absolutely out of this world. The combination of their 4 voices just took our breath away at times. The variety of music they performed was a beautiful mix of opera, songs they had composed and their renditions of well known songs was a beautiful blend of music. The location and the performers made for one of the most beautiful evenings. They are headed to 41 other cities and they are well worth checking out.. So glad I watched their PBS special 4 times to find out they would start their tour in Raleigh.

Tenor Heaven
by Boxerlove on 4/26/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5This was a marvelous concert. The music was so perfect and just gave me 2 hours of peace and pure joy! These guys are so real! and seem to really enjoy their "calling". If they aren't the "real thing" and are just performers, I would be very disappointed. They are using their God-given talent to share so much love and happiness.

by Ange911 on 4/26/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5It was absolutely fantastic! I plan to see them again in December for their Christmas show. Wonderfully entertaining! I love that they incorporated the Cary Academy choir. Simply beautiful. Their rendition of Amazing Grace made me cry.
Tenors were incredible!
by chickenbog on 4/26/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5We attended the Tenors concert at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium on 4/24. The vocal quality of this group is tremendous! They sang a number of songs from their new album (Lead with Your Heart), as well as some of their older stuff. We were really impressed that they were also accomplished instrumentalists (piano and guitar). Raleigh was the first stop on the US leg of their tour, and they put on a fabulous show. They will be coming back to Raleigh again before Christmas, and we will probably look at seeing them again if their show turns out to be a Christmas show.
The Tenors were phenomenal!!!

The Tenors are amazing and inspiring!
by Pianoismylife20 on 4/26/13Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5Bottom-line: they sound better in person than they do on a recording. Anyone who has listened to their albums knows that means that they are absolutely amazing. True, undeniable, God-given talent.
