The Tenors on Tour

Although The Tenors' sound is a combination of classical and pop, the group's concerts are impossible to pigeonhole. Their setlists have been known to include everything from Motown classics to Beatles hits, to renditions of "Agnus Dei" and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." No matter what style The Tenors lend their voices to, it's the power of those pipes that has fans around the world coming back to their performances. Each member of the group is a world-class vocalist on his own terms, and as they trade off on lead vocals, it only becomes more clear. But when their voices combine, they add up to even more than the considerable sum of their parts. Between The Tenors' unbridled eclecticism, out-of-this-world vocal chops and sheer stage presence, it's nearly impossible to walk out of one of their concerts unmoved.

The Tenors in Concert

The Tenors were born out of a vision to combine the best of operatic material with pop, presented by singers possessed of both flawless technique and intense emotion. The lineup has changed since they started, but the mission remains the same. The group first came together in 2004 in Victoria, BC, and early on they were known as The Canadian Tenors, but their moniker changed when it became clear that they could appeal to audiences far beyond their national borders. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2005, though it was the follow-up (also self-titled) that really put them on the map, hitting both the classical and pop charts in the U.S. as well as Canada. Since then, these Canucks have become virtual citizens of the world, playing the most prestigious venues all over the planet, and appearing on television everywhere from PBS to the BBC.

Absolutely loved this show. Each Tenor was outstanding. The way they related to the audience was so genuine. Song selection had something for everyone. Moved to tears by some of the songs. The voices are so pure and their stage persona made you feel like you knew them. Definitely would go again.

  • The Tenors were Amazing!

by Jlpez on 1/29/16The Peace Center - GreenvilleRating: 5 out of 5

This was our second time to see The Tenors. The first time, we went all the way from S. C. to Tampa to see them. I just LOVE them! They performed a nice mix of their older and newer songs, and their voices just keep getting better and better. I did think, at the very beginning of the concert, the music was a little too loud and drowning them out just a bit, but that seemed to be quickly resolved. I like their interaction with the audience and their obvious devotion to their families. They just seem like genuinely good guys and their performances are very uplifting. Cannot wait to see them again!

I have been a fan for years and they just get better all the time. First time to see them in concert and would go again and again. The harmonies gave me goose bumps. I brought my 26 year old grand daughter. She had been listening to your music with her 3 year old daughter and I have to say, You have some very young appreciative fans now. Come back to Nashville again.

One of the best performances we have attended at Clowes. Definitely would recommend this talented group to friends. They were not only musically talented but really engaged the audience. Loved their performance but each one spoke about their family as well as years of growing up and the importance of family heritage to them. We hope they return to Clowes as we look forward to seeing them again.

I saw them during their Lead WithYour Heart Tour and that was a great concert. This one blew me away. So much talent and great song selection. They were loose and personable and the last medley was just great! So much fun!

this was the very first time I've attended a show such as this. I must say there is not a bad seat in the house and the guys are GREAT! The next day I began to search for their remaining show as I would certainly see them again.

  • Simply Amazing

    by col01 on 1/26/16Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

I loved the opening of the performance because they used a short video as the introduction and continued with that theme through -out the performance. The "Boy's" are so wholesome in appearance and have planned their show around love of Family and their Faith. Clifton wowed us with his dance moves as Frazier sported his facial hair, Great Look Frazier! Remi and Victor as always brought a Fantastic performance. Way Out Guys! loved it

"The Tenors" put on a wonderful show! Their musical ability is astounding! This is my husband's favorite group to see in concert. Their personalities show through, as each member takes the microphone to introduce a song or to re-tell a memory. It's a very enjoyable show for all ages.

I really enjoyed the Tenors. They are my favorite group. I travelled from Illinois to see them. I brought three other family members that had not heard them before. They were not expecting much. With the very first song they did my family was simply amazed. They are all very talented. I saw them a few years back in Washington DC. I already can't wait to see them again. Thank you for hosting them close to my home and I want to thank the Tenors for keeping affordable tickets.

  • Beyond amazing!

by MandiMcIver on 1/26/16Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The Tenors has to be the most talented group of men I have ever seen. The concert was filled with chilling moments, laughter, and tears. Tears because the music was so touching and personal that one could not help but to cry. The men had surprises throughout the show that made me bust out laughing. There were at least 4 standing ovations in the first act alone. I had the opportunity to meet them after the show, and they were humble and extremely friendly. You felt comfortable and they give amazing hugs

Venue and performance were both exceptional and comes highly recommended.

I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with their choice of songs up until about 2 just before the intermission. From that point on they were fabulous! I loved the tributes to their parents. I'm glad I went to this show but I would not return a second time to hear this exact same one. They ended with "Hallelujah" my favourite song, but without the music accompaniment it didn't have the same effect on me. When listening to their CD I play this over and over again.

  • The Tenors were Awesome!

by PatrickMullan on 12/8/15New Jersey Performing Arts Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

The Tenors were totally awesome and put on a wonderful show. However getting the meet and greet package is a huge waste of money. We were supposed to receive an autographed picture, and never did. Plus our time with the Tenors came down to 15 seconds for a photo. Don't waste your money on the meet and greet.
