My family and friends loved the show. The kids were very impressed by the singing and dancing.
Entertaining combination of pop, rap, tap dance, broadway style music. Great for adults with a good use of popular lines from the show.
Fabulous show. Great for kids and adults! Tilles is an excellent venue.
I thought the cast, the music and the set were terrific!
The show and cast were amazing! We have seen this show on Broadway twice and this national tour show ranked right up there with those performances! My kids were very excited for the show so it was stressful and a few minutes of disappointment when our tickets would not scan at the door to get in. The venue then sent me to box office window where they printed nee tickets- they scanned- but when we got to our seats they were sold and filled to someone else. The venue did give us other seats- so that was fine- but we knew it was a sold out show when we got our tickets so the kids were panicking and it was slightly stressful. The show itself was amazing and I highly recommend it!
This is the second time we've seen Spongebob Squarepants. Two Millenials, we were blown away by the Broadway production. Great songs that stay with you long after the show, what really surprised us most was the poignant message that is threaded through this entire show. Given the crazy political climate we live in, it wasn't hard to draw comparisons to the issues we're facing in America and to see it played out in such a thoughtful, touching, heartfelt manner was a delight. While entertaining for kids, this show certainly plays to the adults in its audience. The touring cast was great and had lots of energy, as well as stellar vocals. We had a hard time believing Patrick Starr was not from the original Broadway cast because he sounded/looked liked Danny Skinner to the T! If you're on the fence about seeing a musical about a talking sponge, GO. It's absolutely wonderful. As I was writing this, my partner was singing in the back one of the songs, completely unprompted. We see a lot of Broadway shows (Dear Evan Hansen, Be More Chill, Moulin Rouge, Pretty Woman, Book of Mormon, Waitress, Frozen, Helly Dolly, Tootsie, Mean Girls, Come From Away - just to name a few we've seen in the past year), and this has been the only one that's really "stuck" in our hearts and minds. It's timely, it's fun, it's worth the visit to Bikini Bottom.
Everything about the show was fantastic, from the musical intro all the way through the curtain call. Excellent acting, singing, set design, costumes, everything! My initial reason for going was for my daughter to see it, but I enjoyed it just as much as she did!
The play was fun and funny. Truly entertaining! It’s for all ages.
The SpongeBob Musical was enjoyable from start to finish. Every cast member did an impressive job, with SpongeBob and Patrick being absolutely amazing (SpongeBob is on stage for much of the show, and at one point in the second half he's singing while he's upside down!). This was my daughter's favorite show while she was growing up, and she thoroughly enjoyed the show as well. Don't miss this if you have the opportunity to see it.
The show was great. The performers were very talented singers and dancers, and had a lot of energy. We also enjoyed the costumes, colors, set, etc. The only bad part was that the show started very late. This was hard for my teenager on the autism spectrum, since I told him it was supposed to start at 7:30.
The show was really amazing but was already off putting b/c of the 45 min delay before starting. Should offer rebates on next tickets.
SpongeBob Musical was fun filled 2 hrs of family fun. The show was funny, smart and well put together all around. And the Boch Center as always was first class
I took my 10 year old grandchildren to show in Boston because i thought they would enjoy it. As is turned out i thought it was GREAT. All of performers were full of energy. If you closed your eyes you would think they were ther voices on TV. I would tell everyone to go to show no matter what age. !!
Fun, good-quality show that exceeded my expectations! Great actors and acting with a good, solid storyline and good songs. My family really enjoyed it.
We had a wonderful experience at Spongbob Musical. Fantastic show!
We're a SpongeBob Family and we all enjoyed the experience .. it was actually better than we expected.... it was amazing .. Thank you.
The show was funny, lively, colorful and just plain fun! The kids had a blast and so did the adults!
My 8 and 5 year old boys were captivated by the lights, colors, and sounds. The story was fun and easy to follow, and the music was great. Ever since the show, my sons keep playing the songs on "Alexa". I wish we had gone earlier in the Boston run, because we probably would have gone again!
Brought the kids, enjoyed it more than they did! Very funny and very Spongebob like!! Fantastic performance!!!
Great musical, ok plot. My children and I enjoyed it.
