The musical was Beyond all expectations I had. The cast was incredible. It definitely helped to have phenomenal seats but overall the play was perfectly cast and amazing execution from the actors and actresses.
My kids ages 8 & 23. Loved this show so much. My little one left and said that was Awsome!
We enjoyed the show it was fun for the kids. Everyone had something they liked / character that cracked them up.
This was a wonderful performance! We have loves Sponge Bob for many many years, and heard great things about the musical, so we got tickets and myself and my 16 year old along with her friends went to the show...it was marvelous...it's not just a "kids" show, there is adult humor that goes over kids heads and the singing and dancing is amazing...the vocals were astounding and I honestly recommend this if you watched and enjoyed the cartoon...you need to come see this wonderful show before it's gone! Go ahead and make it the "BEST DAY EVER"
We took our 7yo old son and I’m not sure who loved it more him or us!! Spectacular show!! Great music and staging, and touring company was amazing!! I don’t know much about Spongebob but I’m a fan now!!
Took my two 13 year old nieces they couldnt stop talking about it after. I liked it too.
My four year old and I went to a matinee on the Boston stop and both had an amazing time. The set pieces were amazing, the songs were catch and the performers were all incredibly talented. I went in not knowing what to expect, and left a fan! My son also loved the show.
My husband, two boys (age 6 and 8) and I attended SpongeBob’s musical on Sunday evening. It was amazing! The music was great, costumes colorful and lively! There were many creative and clever moments during the show. The actors/actresses were fantastic! Can’t say enough! We were all impressed, and my husband doesn’t even like musicals. I caught him chuckling several times during the show. Would definitely recommend this production!
I saw the SongeBob Squarepants musical on 10/20/2019. I enjoyed it more than I thought that I would. The families (parents with kids) who were seated around me all seemed to enjoy the show as well. Cute. Snappy songs. Didn't feel like a two and a half hour show (in a good way!). Time flew by.
The entire experience from beginning to end was awesome. Ticket purchase and retrieval was great. All staff at the theater was so nice. Just wonderful for a first theater experience for the kids
The show was fantastic - the acting and singing brought you all the way down to Bikini Bottom! Fun, engaging and wonderfully performed. One of the best shows I've seen. Don't bring the kids!
It was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend this show especially if you have little ones!
Had a good time. This was for my sons 7th bday and went with my husband and 2 older kids. During intermission my husband was given 2 front seats which bettered my sons bday. The rest of us had to go back to our seats. My son talked about it the whole way home.
I went in not knowing anything about the show. The sets, costumes, and performers were excellent. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it!
Took my year year old who’s a fan of the sponge bob square pants show And he absolutely loved every minute of it
Dang this was so good. I had previously seen the musical in NYC with Ethan Slater and was extremely impressed there. The touring version did have a few minor differences (example: the set wasn't able to be as extravagant for certain scenes) but it was still totally worth seeing. I'm tempted to go again before it leaves Boston and moves onto the next city!
Playful and delightful for kids and adults who have a passion for Spongebob. Great performances from the actors and staging was inspirational. Good to see the musicians play an active role in the action too. Unfortunately the balcony on the mezzanine at the Boch Theatre is quite obstructing which hampered viewing that would have otherwise given this a 5-star review
Not only for kids great show for the entire family
TOOK MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER WHO GREW UP WITH THE SHOW AND SHE LOVED THE WAY IT STAYED TRUE TO THE SPIRIT AND MAGICAL WEIRDNESS. THE PERFORMERS WERE ALL AMAZING AND EARNED A WELL DESERVED STANDING OVATION FOR THEIR EFFORTS TO HONOR THE WORLD OF BIKINI BOTTOM.
My seven year old son was very happy and he enjoyed the show. So did I. It was great and the characters, specially the main ones were awesome.
