SOUND OF MUSIC

This production was terrific and the cast was wonderful. Our seats were very good and it was interesting how the show was staged to accommodate what must have been a smaller stage. While we could not see them behind the stage, the orchestra did a great job. This was among the best productions of TSOM I've seen. Loved the Mother Superior singing "Climb Every Mountain" because it was chilling. All main cast members were terrific. Two criticisms. First, it would have been nice to have some type of playbill to read about the cast and the production. Their names, without the parts they played, were listed on a board so they really didn't have an identity to know their backgrounds. Then was the screaming toddler in the front. The show management should not have allowed such a young child to come in and once it became clear that the mother/father were not going to at least go to the back of the theater, someone should have come down to them. Since they were so close to the stage, it was distracting to the audience and must have been really unpleasant for the cast.
